I basically told them what was wrong with my vehicle and the only thing they did pull the wheels off and DIAGNOSE what I told them. I was charged $114 to tell me what I already knew and give me aquote on the repair. I was not told of a 1hour labor charge just to inspect and give me a price. I have recently had my Challenger repaired here. These are the nicest people I have met in car repair. The first person I met was the lady at the counter and she is super sweet. Due to needing parts ordered I was scheduled to come in the next day. It really did not take as long as I expected. My car was finished that same day and the mechanic was very nice when speaking with me. I liked that the whole process was not aggravating and it was simple. It was so nice that they all treat you with kindness the whole time here. My experience was a very good one and thank you everyone. I will be back if anything acts up in the future. read more

My car has been serviced at Murphy's for four or 5 years. From the very first, I trusted and had complete faith in them. Several months ago the car was having a problem blowing warm air on my feet. Murphy's took that car apart, unfortunately not being able to correct the problem, but never charged me 1 dime. My car will only be serviced at Murphy's due to the honesty, competence, and great service that is provided by them. I took my car in for breaks because I though they might be replacing. Instead of replacing them, I received a call saying they were still good. Who do you know that would not do something because it didn't need to be done. Five stars for Murphy's. read more

I've been a customer of Murphy's for many years, but this business has changed since the owner passed away. I took my 2000 Ranger in for service about 3 months ago and was quoted $1440 for a variety of services including rear drum brakes. At that time I asked about the front brakes and was told " they are fine but we will change them if you want to". Already looking at a $1400+ bill for a $3500 truck, I said if they are OK don't do them. When I went to pick up the truck I was surprised by a bill of over $1600, and was told "well, we didn't add tax." That was a major red flag, that has never happened in the years I've been a customer. Long story short, I started seeing a lot of brake dust on the front passenger wheel and hearing some grinding. I took the truck to another shop and I'm looking at $900+ for rotors, pads, lines, etc. Was told the truck is not drivable in this shape. So frankly I'm disappointed and pissed off that I took my business here, it will be the last time. read more

Best mechanic I have ever been to. I was making an overnight drive from GA to PA and, while on the highway, my car had shut off. I tried to jump start it to no avail and ended up getting it towed here as per the recommendation of the tow truck driver. In the morning, the staff helped me roll my car into the garage and offered me coffee and donuts while I waited. They then came to me and told me the price of the repairs and asked me to confirm if I wanted the work done. Too often do auto shops fix first and charge higher later without the owner's permission. They got my car back to me within hours and charged me a very fair price. They are also AAA discount friendly. If I lived in the area, I would surely be a repeat customer. read more

We've been using Murphy's for several years for standard care and tires, but didn't realize how amazing they were until we had a flat tire at 5:00, on a Friday afternoon, away from home. Since I was unable to change it myself, I called hoping for any assistance. Within 15 minutes, one of the guys from Murphy's (who was actually on HIS way home) arrived, changed the tire, loaded up the old tire in his car, and checked my other tires "just to make sure."
