I needed a battery for my car and wanted to buy from within my town. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed any assistance. The gentleman helping me was Oscar Rodriguez. Let me stop and say that customer service is extremely important to me. Even more than the price if it is within reason. Oscar should be recognized and compensated extra for beyond the call of duty. We discussed my car and my future intentions even before we looked at batteries and their cost. No pressure whatsoever. I knew he was honest when he suggested the battery I knew was the right one. Oscar than cheerfully went outside and exchanged the batteries. AUTOZONE has a gem in this man!!! The price was more than fair and Oscar explained the warranty in detail. Clifton was such a big help finding what I needed. so nice to have a real car person working at an auto parts store.

For the most part this store is ok. Its hardly ever busy, but if there is 2 or more people in front of you it will take forever. The one major bright spot about this store is the assistant manager Joseph. I'll call ahead before I leave the house and see if he is there. If he isn't I usually don't bother going because I don't feel like dealing with the other idiotic non-car guys. He is very knowledgeable and quick. Knows where things are and won't give you the deer in headlights look when you ask a technical question. Been here many times for parts on my 67 Chevelle. read more

Wow!!! What an experience!! My boyfriend and I came to this location after he bought a used car and we had some concerns regarding the battery. Any standard salesperson would have seen us coming and attempted to sell us the most expensive battery they could. Ralph D was fantastic - he came out, tested everything, and even confirmed for us that replacing the battery would be a waste of money and time! A+++ service!!! read more

Love great customer service! One of my headlights was out, and we got sold the wrong one at another location, and they weren't helpful. Today we came to our trusted location in La Porte, and Brandon helped us get the right bulb, and got us in and out quickly.
