I've been a customer of this company for over 20 years and have never experienced issues like this before. I went in for a tire rotation--which is supposed to be included with the purchase--and was told it would not be done. Both sets of tires were still in the green with very little difference, so the refusal made no sense. The front desk staff showed no concern and acted unprofessionally and lazily throughout the interaction. After two decades of loyalty, I'm extremely disappointed. Fair warning: it's almost meaningless to make an appointment. I scheduled an appointment today, arrived early and waited 20 minutes in line. It was over an hour after my appointment time that they finally brought my car in to look at it. The appointment times seem to be more way to get you into the lobby. By far the best customer service I've ever had from a discount tire. The assistant manager LILLIAN worked hard to make sure that I was taken care of and my concerns were heard. I had a broken stud which caused my lug nut to spin around. Long story short my tire wouldn't come off. She sent me to an actual shop (not some random guy) and everything was approved by the manager. Thank you to those who worked tirelessly to help me. I usually have bad experiences at car places as a woman but I can vouch for this place that it is THE BEST!!!! It seems that this location is always busy. I have ordered at least a full set of tires from this location. My tires are not always in stock but majority of the time they will order your tires for you. Ordering tires can be a quick turn around for the most part. The restrooms are also always clean every time i have visited the shop. read more

Did you know they price match any tires from anywhere, as long as you bring in legitimate proof! I was shocked when they beat a warehouse club, which includes lifetime balancing, rotations, air checks and flat repair. The manager Kim Williams is nice beyond compare! I went there for tire sensors on aftermarket wheels ( I did buy 4 Michelin tires at an excellent price!) for a 2024 Acura Type S. They installed the 4 TPMS's, they never worked. I then went to Acura to try to resolve the issue. Acura would not help at all, because I didn't buy OEM or from them! I returned to Discount Tire and rather than remove them they just refunded my money 100%! The manager said... and for the inconvenience we will pay for the OEM Acura parts and you can return to Acura for the labor and costs! Who does that? Can anyone tell me any other store anywhere that would pay for your parts to have another dealer install them. August 2024 purchase two tires from discount tire Missouri city which they said I needed,took my car to get the annual inspection and was advised that I needed the other two tires, brought the car back...advised that the other two tires were needed, I was charged AGAIN for the service charge and warranty for two sets of tires instead of four tires since I had JUST purchased the 2 I was told by them that I needed. Today I made an appointment for 9:30am to rotate the tires and a gentleman scanned the tires to which the scanner showed GOOD . He then told me that there was a little bit of wear on the tread on the inside of the front tires and that they would not rotate the tires. He advised me that I would need to purchase two tires which he then presented a breakdown $70 less than what I had paid previously just one year ago. He asked me if I had any mechanical issues with the car. I advised him no, and he said that this could be a result of needing an alignment. I only drive to work and home. I don't know what kind of misinformation, bad business practices or advantage of women this is but it is truly unsettling! Be careful!!!! read more

I usually come to Discount Tire- it's free, right?. So, when I needed new tires I came here. Several months ago I got my routine balance & rotation. Shortly after I noticed a vibration at slow speeds. My brother recommended I get another rebalance because the adhesive weights can fall off. I thought the problem was better but seemed to get worse. I brought the car back to DT for a third time (after seeing a mechanic and ruling out other issues). The tires checked out as balanced. Kim, the manager, offered to replace all my tires. So boom, check it - I take my Infiniti QX50 back in June and homie that waits on me is MAD macho - cuz, I've had like 16 cars in life so far and I know my way around a tire, brake and suspension system.... but anyhoo - he just didn't handle things right, I ended up doing my deal at another location....... BUT TODAY - Robert at this location has single handedly redeemed my entire hope of the soul of this organization! I called before I went, was told they were not extremely busy and I was greeted when I drove up into a parking space. Every question I had answered, even went above an beyond for some tips on how to approach my extended warranty with a non affiliated company. Absolute kudos on this experience! So glad I did not do a 2 star review based on my visit before - I really think this company does a great job overall, you can't knock them for one bad thing. I schedule an appointment for 4 o'clock using their website. I arrived at 4:05. I brought two new tires and had the tires rotated. I was guaranteed that the service would be completed by 5:15. I've been to other locations and never had this problem. Been buying my tires from DISCOUNT TIRES over 20 years. I understand it gets busy sometimes however they were not that busy. I usually go to the Clearlake store. I've been there when it was much busier and did not have to wait this long. Not happy with this location at all. Only reason I came to this one is it's closer. This Discount location reminds me of a chic-fil-a business model. The service adviser helped me find the best tire for my price and he also found a rebate for the tires. The service was amazing, the gentleman that help me told me that my vehicle would be ready within hour and half. My car was ready before time. However, the text message they sent me to notify me that my car was ready was a tad bit early...my car was ready 10 minutes after the text message. One of the issue I had today, was they did not put a paper mat down when moving my car or wear gloves to ensure that no grease got on the door. I walked in at 8:10 am on a Saturday morning, they had a line out the door but had it moving as quick as a chik fil a drive thru. In and out by 8:45! They greet you when you walk in, they let you know about price options, educate you about tires, let you know when they are taking your car back and let you know when they are returning it to you. This is the type of service and attitude you want from a tire shop (or any service establishment.). I was in last week because I had a nail in my tire and it was leaking quickly. They got me in quick, as a walk in. The technician told me he recommended rotate and balance, as the front tread was slightly more worn than the back. They got the work done in about 45 minutes, and gave me my invoice. I was shocked. No Charge!! These are brand new OEM tires that I did not even purchase from Discount Tires. I watched each tech greet, introduce themselves and sometimes even shake hands with new customers as they came in. One tech was proud to tell a customer that they were cranking through 14 cars per hour that morning. I have used Discount Tire for several years and frequented this location for purchases and repairs. I am not sure what has transpired in the last year, but the service has become absolutely unacceptable. Communication is subpar and explanations are handled in the manner of pointing fingers at another employee. Only until I inquired about to the time frame to even pull my vehicle into an bay was I told "oh you're next." How convenient. Davion assisted me with zero haggling or attitude about what I wanted. The whole time he was completely pleasant and attentive to hearing exactly what I wanted, which as a female, is a rare experience to have in the auto world. While I waited I observed the others. It was during such a visit that I was informed I had a blade in my tire!! Quentin went ABOVE and BEYOND for me when my brand of tire had to be shipped, he gave me a loaner tire until it arrived!! I booked my appointment and bought my tires online. I like this option because it cuts down the time that you need to wait. It would be helpful if they told you on the confirmation email that you need to check in before you enter the building. Apparently there is a guy sitting in a chair underneath a red tent that you are supposed to check in with. Th ere is no signage stating this, nor does the guy under the red tent make any effort to flag you down as you enter the parking lot. Instead the staff berates you when you walk in because you did not follow their policy that you were unaware of. read more

After traveling through a neighborhood being built, I must have run over a nail. I scheduled an appointment here. The gentleman on the phone was very helpful and everything was smooth. My spouse took my car to the business and they tried to get him to buy two tires right away. The tires are only 2 years old and in good shape outside of running over a nail. The back right tire need air in it. They fixed the flat and put the donut tire back, but didn't even bother to check my other tires. So I still have a warning light in for low tire pressure in the back tire. I don't wouldn't return here unless there isn't another choice.
