I took it to Advance Auto Parts because the battery came from there, but was not under any warranty anymore because it was fairly old. They checked it as well. Sure enough it needed a battery. They carry Diehard batteries. I had called Firestone because in the past I had gotten Interstate Batteries there but they don't sell them anymore, they sell Diehard. The problem with them is the cost of the battery I needed. It was close to $300. I got mine at Auto Zone and it was only $234 for the same Diehard battery. That's a big difference, so I got it here. The gentlemen that work here are very friendly. The guy that installed my battery was Brian, we were chatting about GMC and he said his dad worked for GMC for almost 40 years. I have a 2004 GMC Envoy. Brian learned a lot from his dad. So he was the right guy to do the job and he was very friendly. I'm lucky because both of the auto part places near me are excellent and trustworthy and reliable. I will be back here And I don't think it will be in nine years

I was quoted $57.00 Upon arrival I asked the service rep please change front windshield wipers, to which he quoted me $87.00 I understood the changed amount. I waited and 1 hour later, the rep asked me about my tires, when I changed them, I never did since I purchased the car 1 year ago. Well, he said, the tires appear to have cracked rubber and should be changed, to which I replied no thanks. Then he said the battery appears to be charging low, I again replied no thank you, I came here for an oil change, just do what I asked. 15 minutes later he said to me I forgot to add the wiper blades. I said you quoted mt $87 which is $30 more than quoted over the phone. He says they are not suppose to quote over the phone. Bullshit. He said the wiper blades are very expensive and he had to order. I said forget it. You ask me all this stuff I didn't ask for. But, on my order, you failed to do your job. I got the oil change only and left. Come to find out, on the receipt, they wanted to charge me for a battery $372 and $1540 for 4 tires. Never again.

When I politely questioned it, the man behind the counter snatched my receipt, ripped it in half, threw it at me, and screamed, "You bitches think everything is free," followed by calling me a "dumb bitch" and telling me to "get the f*** out and never come back." As a woman alone, I felt completely disrespected and unsafe. No customer should ever be spoken to that way -- period. Their lack of professionalism, integrity, and basic decency is disgusting. I will never return, and I strongly advise anyone -- especially women -- to avoid this place at all costs.
