I wait go back in mon speak with the manager and I'm now told I need to contact the treasurer department. call them and get no return of phone calls from anyone . Let me start off by saying I personally joined the Yelp community just to write a review about this place. If I could rate this location lower than 1 star I would highly consider it. Mind you that I've only gone here mid morning on weekends, but to me this place is the equivalent of the CT DMV maybe even worse. Today's trip was no different from the rest in the past. There are two auto parts stores in Torrington, the other being Advanced Auto Parts. I chose to visit Auto Zone today because of the difference in distance to my home. I figured going early in the morning would be more than enough to avoid the long lines and wait times to be helped. Boy was I wrong. I walked in at about 10:45 this morning Sunday March 20th looking for 5Qts of oil, a filter, and a cap socket for the oil filter. Upon entering I see 4-5 associates at the registers helping customers with their purchases. So i check the weekly ad at the front counter and see that the oil I need is on sale..perfect. I then go to the back wall looking for my oil for about 10 minutes without a single associate approaching me to ask for help. As I'm waiting I went to check out the filters until it slows down a little and I can be helped. I end up in the filter aisle looking for a Mobil1 M108 oil filter. I find the location on the shelf and they are out of stock AGAIN. This was the 4th time in as many visits thay they haven't had this filter in stock. This, combined with the long lines, no help, and no stock of the product I need was enough to send me on my way to Advanced Auto Parts. There I was greeted as I walked in, was able to find everything I needed within in 5 minutes and for a few dollars less! I will never shop at Auto Zone again. Family and friends warned me. This location is awful. My friends and family don't shop there because it sucks so bad, my grandfather quit his job at another location because it sucks so bad, and I will be telling others not to shop there because it sucks so bad.
