However, I changed over to Acura's and I do get most of my maintenance done at Acura dealership just because I like to maintain my records. However for certain things I have just rolled up to Carmen's and they have checked out things for me on the spot. Just for example today, I wasn't sure if my windshield fluid was frozen. He checked it out after 10 mins, defrosted it and then it worked! he didn't charge me. I was amazed, I mean in this day and age, who doesn't charge? so I am going back next week for a battery replacement for my MDX, which I know will be cheaper than the dealership. Definitely check them out. Reasonable, convenient and local :)

I dropped off the truck and I left it for the oil change and check over the car. I get a call in about an hour your car is done. Some recommendations but nothing they can do today. Ok. I go to pick it up. They recommends, filters.... vague but ok, tires an alignment; and wipers. How long before I need tires, he wasn't sure he had to go look. The mechanic made the note. Ok but how about share that note with me. Hundred miles, thousand miles, thousands of miles, which is it? I asked what about coolant. The vehicle is 11 yrs old, bought it used. They said they just topped it off. Didn't really look at it. Ok how about the diff fluid, they need to take the plug out to check it. Ok... did you drive it, is it making noise? I wanted them to double check me not sure I'm hearing diff noise or tire noise. No they didn't drive it. Ok how's the trans fluid. They didn't check it. Then I asked did you grease the fittings on the drive shaft or joints, No again. Even though my receipt says grease as one of the parts. They had an opportunity today to upsell me on a bunch of things if my truck needed it, but they didn't even bother to check the truck throughly. I feel like I just went to a Jiffy Lube, no offense to Jiffy Lube bc they actually pull my filters and show me which ones they're trying to sell me. We have used them before and they were good. I wonder what else has been missed on my other car that we bring there. Really disappointed in Carmines. It's hard to find people to do a good job these days or who want to work. This was my experience.
