To be fair, they did also sell artisan chocolate and cookies, but the éclairs were obviously the bread and butter of the shop. The éclairs at L'Éclair de Génie were stunning, and it was hard to just choose one or a few to try. One that particularly stood out to me was an éclair that looked like it was spray painted in a shiny bronze color. (By the way this particular éclair was amazing.) I ended up getting a box of mini éclairs for 35€. 3,50€ per mini was a bit pricey considering that I've seen full-sized éclairs for the same price or even cheaper at other places. The éclairs were overall great. I tried every one but the lemon flavor, and they did not disappoint. The bronze one was exceptional as I had hoped for. I also particularly liked the ones with vanilla bean filling. Although I reserve the best éclair I ever had from a different patisserie that I won't name here (but feel free to ask me about it), these éclairs were top notch.

They have classic flavors like caramel buerre sale,chocolate, vanilla, but also more advanced flavors like lemon ginger, lemon coconut, rhubarb and also savory ones, which I've never tried. My all time favorite is caramel buerre sale. Their forasters is a dark chocolate one and also delicious. Café is ok. These three are perfect with coffee. Lemon ginger is great for a hot day and it's far from spicy. If you like coconut, take the lemon coco. You rarely taste the lemon but a lot of coco. Tipp: if it's over 25C degrees. Eat them right now and don't carry them home.

Both desserts were very pretty, I almost felt bad eating them! The cake was very moist and surprisingly not too sweet. Great undertones of citrus which paired great with the white chocolate. The tiramisu was super soft and creamy, with rich cocoa flavoring. If you come to Paris you have to try Angelina at least once -- even if it's not inside the sit down restaurant!

Fou isn't a large space, really only enough for a queue to form and the staff to stand behind the counter. Unlike a traditional pâtisserie, there is no baking done on premises here. Instead, they import bakes from other pâtisseries and pastry chefs and sell them here. They had a good selection, with each having a label that tells where it came from and/or who the pasty chef was that created it. We decided on three pastries and a slice of cake - they were running a special where if we ordered three bakes then we could get a fourth for a discount. Each of the bakes were quite good - my favorite was the lemon which had great flavor while also being intricately decorated. Overall though, all our selections were high quality. Service was fast and friendly, and overall I had a good experience at Fou de Pâtisserie. It's a great option to get Paris' "greatest hits" from all over the city.

They both offered a lovely selection of treats! The caramel brûlée pâte à choux was quite possibly one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life - a sweet caramel cream filling and a crispy brûlée sugar top. I also tried the pistachio tart (salty, not very sweet) , the pear and almond tart (very fresh, not super sweet, and gorgeous), and the chocolate praliné tart (very rich, dark, and indulgent). Overall, this is definitely a patisserie that I will seek out on a future trip to Paris!

A Korean woman is the chocolatier and she is obviously skilled at chocolate artistic sculpture for festive events. But it is her fine chocolates that dominate the candy case - which catch my eyes. I find an Asian sensibility pleasing in the variety of filling/flavor choices. After having several samples of chocolates and a house made macaron, I bought an assorted chocolate box. Yum! The boutique itself is like a small candy box filled with treats - nice ambiance. With the lab in the back, the chocolates are as fresh as can be. Next time I'm in the Montmartre neighborhood, I'll be stopping by again!

The pistachio and raspberry were pretty standard. Orange blossom was good. My favorite was the Marie-Antoinette Tea. It was so good, I wish I bought some from the shop downstairs. You could actually taste the tea flavor in it. The pistachio milkshake was too sweet, especially with the macarons. Should have opted for a latte or something with less/no sugar. I'm sure there are tons of other macaron places that are just as good as Laduree but the dining area at this location and the presentation is just very pretty.
