We got the box of 10 mini merveilleux with multiple flavors: - Le Merveilleux (dark chocolate) - L'Incroyable (white chocolate) - L'Impensable (coffee) - Le Sans-Culotte (caramel) - Le Magnifique (almonds and hazelnuts) - L'Excentrique (cherry) I haven't heard of merveilleux before this, but I can now definitely see why there was such a long line for these! Super soft meringues that are so light and airy. Not even an exaggeration to say that they literally melt in your mouth - although they look large in the photo, they're super easy to eat as they're super airy. I had this place on my list of places to visit, but I still managed to stumbled into it by mistake while strolling around Paris. This is a small location with very friendly staff. I didn't know what to expect as I wasn't sure what I was about to experience based on pictures. However, as we came in, the product was being prepared in the window. It's basically meringue with cream inside and outside. Each meringue is flavored differently, and chocolate with accompanying flavor is stick to the outside cream layer. When you bight into this magical cloud, you feel like you bight into a mass of airy cloud that is the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness. We tried the coffee and chocolate flavor, and both were divine. Given their numerous locations, you have a pretty good chance of walking into this magical cloud place. I suggest you visit it if you are ever in Paris, because my taste buds never experienced anything like this in the states. read more
