I wanted to find a local chiropractor who would do more than just the "bone crusher". Dr. Howard is very thorough in his evaluation, and tailors the program to the specific patient. He's the only chiro I know of in the A/V who does decompression therapy. That might or might not be what you need. I only see him use it with a few people. Really he will do whatever it takes to get you healed. He is a genuine and caring man. I feel very comfortable recommending him and this clinic if you want a chiro who is there for more than just taking your money. his rates are EXTREMELY reasonable, especially if you pay cash. Also, he gives a thorough free eval. At least go for that and see what he has to say. read more

First time here, my bf came in with excruciating lower back pain. He didn't get hurt, the pain came out of nowhere and had him almost in tears. I have been going to Dr. Hodges for a couple of years; first through a VA referral, then on my own. He was the first chiropractor to actually find out that the root cause of my horrendous lower back pain actually stemmed from a leg length discrepancy. After several adjustments and following his suggestions for a heel wedge, I hardly ever have the intense lower back pain that I had lived with for years. Did you know there is a massage therapist on staff?! Wilma is absolutely terrific! I am not normally a massage type of person. I do not like going to a typical spa where it's mostly just atmosphere, candles, and smelly essential oils. Wilma's sessions are relaxing, but also intense (in a very good way). I write this review in a lot of pain and still unseen. This is for the office staff of the Health Center. I called yesterday around 1:30pm about being seen as soon as possible. I gave them all my insurance info and they said they would call me back and set up an appointment. Around 5:40 pm and still no call I called them and was informed the office manager who could confirm my insurance was out for the day and would call me back tomorrow morning (today) as soon as she was in working. I finally received a call around 12:22 today, still in pain and still upset. A gentleman called and wanted the same info I gave him yesterday so he could call and confirm my insurance. I was just told yesterday that he couldn't confirm that info! What a waste of time while I lay in pain. I explained to him yesterday this was a time sensitive appointment as I cannot perform my functions at work without a doctor's note. I am upset with this center and I will be contacting the office manager tomorrow morning. read more
