LG STUDIO REFRIGERATOR: Our craft ice maker was not producing any ice and was a couple of weeks from being out of factory warranty. Apparently there are very few appliance repair companies in Clarksville, TN that work on LG appliances. AV REPAIR SPECIALISTS did everything right: their communication was excellent, their scheduling was excellent and flexible with our needs, then the tech they send was so knowledgeable he walked in with the part needed, went straight to the fridge, removed the bad ice maker and installed the new one. Was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and excellent customer service. We found out they work on many brands and types of appliances so it's definitely worth a call if something is broken. I believe they are straight forward and honest. I'm not sure about their pricing because our refrigerator was under the LG WARRANTY but just having an honest appliance repair company in my contacts list is an amazing value these days. Most unreliable company I've ever dealt with. Had service call scheduled last Monday between 12 and 4. 5:30 and not even a word from them. No word on Tuesday either! Scheduled through Whirlpool and was told they couldn't get an answer and to contact them ourselves. Not even enough consideration to call! I wish they had a minus star. Sent to repair a refrigerator by Lowe's. Fixed the light but installed the door wrong and after requesting that he return he was rude and said we did damage to fridge. Lowes sent delivery men to fix what he screwed up because he is incompetent. read more

We have been dealing with them since may of 2021 and my dishwasher still does not drain unless we hit cancel. They don't ever return calls. I had to call on friday and monday this week to get a call back on tuesday, with the question of whats wrong with your dishwasher. WTF. Ridiculous. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY read more

Worse repair service I have ever encountered. They are a GE repair service who does not return calls, does not do what the we they say they will. Lie after lie when you do talk to someone. Over six weeks since my first appointment and still my dishwasher is not fixed. No call to say what's up. Have to start over with someone else. You guys suck big time! read more

They never returned calls. Don't deal with them. Almost all reviews are bad for a reason. We ended up talking to a repair supervisor for Lowes for our dryer repair and they agreed to let us find a good repair person and they gave us a claim number with instructions. We suggested Lowes take this horrible company off their referral list. read more

I had a great experience with AV Repair Specialist. They showed up on time and went right to work. The gentleman was very kind and courteous as well as educational as he repaired/replaced my condenser. Very neat and was meticulous about making sure he didn't make a mess on our kitchen floor. This is the worst repair shop I have ever dealt with. They don't ever answer the phone and they never call you back. They never ordered a part for my washer that they said they ordered, I have been trying to get my washer fixed for over a month, I'm beyond pissed. I will never deal with this company again, a big waste of time. read more

They are an authorized repair provider for LG refrigerators. They are unprofessional and incompetent. After 3 visits, my refrigerator is still not working. The repairman that services Nashville made me uncomfortable. He also tracked in mud and water from outside (most repair companies wear booties when they walk into your house), he used my bathroom (and the stench cleared that part of my house) and he claimed to replace parts that were not replaced. I checked the serial number of the supposedly new compressor, which shows the manufacture date of 2012. I called AV repair to ask them to send out someone else and they refused. So, they did have the chance to make it right and did not do so. read more

This is the company that Lowes uses to repair dishwashers, well unless you never want yours to work again, i would not use them. They were supposed to get the small plastic pieces and fix ours last week, well we have not heard a thing from them, called Lowes and they don't have a clue. Worthless company. DO NOT USE THEM for anything!!! I'm not sure how they are Maytag certified, probably because they just never fix the stuff. Worst ever. Call a company in Murfreesboro and they are going to be here by the end of the week to fix it. I suggest contacting them, Ken's Appliance Service, they are also Maytag certified, but live up to expectations unlike these folks. read more

As a woman I have major trust issues when it comes to any repair or contractor. These guys are always very polite and took the time to explain to me the issues I was having and why. I live in a very remote area and am very hard to communicate with and these guys never gave up despite my crazy schedule, to accommodate me and my appliance on several occasions. II wouldn't let these guys work on my 10 year olds bike! Absolutely worthless!! My Maytag washer has been broke for over a month with no resolve from either AV Repair or MAYTAG. They are the only company that services my area and I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place. The 1st time out to the house after having to wait 2 weeks the guy spent about 10 minutes there said he didn't have the parts and would contact us... Crickets... Crickets.... HAD TO DRIVE TO THEIR OFFICE TO FIND OUT WHEN they planned on returning. When the parts finally came in and they came out to fix the machine, after replacing the parts the "repair guy" turned the washer on, shut it off and said it was fixed. Put in a load of clothes only to find out that gear box is still broke and the washer is STILL inoperable. My husband just returned from deployment and taking all his uniforms to the laundry mat would cost a small fortune in itself. Not only is this taking away from family time having to spend the morning out washing clothes, but having to take time off from work for these guys to show up to do their half arsed repairs. My advice don't buy a MAYTAG and don't have these guys touch your equipment. read more
