Definitely recommend. I always heard terrifying stories about eyelash extensions, and my own friend even lost her own lashes due to bad application from somewhere. I literally looked at every possible place around town and nobody compared to the reviews for here...and I see why! I have been here twice now and both were full sets of mix cashmere and mink for a super natural look. Sholeh is usually the receptionist and she is such a kind lady. She takes care of you, treats you like a valued customer and definitely cares for you. I appreciate her warm welcome and reminders before appointments. Thank you Sholeh! Ava is the person who has done my lashes for me both times I have been here. I greatly appreciate her patience and care. She is a professional unlike many other places that just want to get the customer in and out. The process takes about an hour and it does not hurt at all. Ava does a good job at eyelash extensions and has fair prices. However, your appointment will never start on time. And sometimes she won't even show up for your appointment. Most businesses will send YOU reminders of your upcoming appointments, but if you work with Ava, YOU will have to send HER reminders of your upcoming appointments. Bad customer orientation. Booked an anti-aging facial with Groupon. Arrived for my 3:00 appt. Took off my makeup with makeup wipes, not cleanser. She left in the room with the steamer on for 10 min, steamer turned off and she didnt return for another 5-7 minutes. Then slapped a paper face mask on and left me another 10 min with red light therapy. Machine turned off and she was still not back for another 5ish min. She seemed like she was fitting me in and rushed, but said she didnt have another client...but I certainly didnt feel like she was giving me any attention. Then she used this hifu face machine on me which was not supposed to be part of the treatment, but said the machine costs #10k, so I guess it's good. Groupon messaged neck and hand massage but got neither. Not a good experience, and will not be back. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is because she did use this machine on me that I hope helps. read more

My current lash tech is on maternity leave and she recommended this salon. Instead of having new lashes put on, I was about to have elective surgery and needed to have my lashes removed for a few weeks. I've had lashes removed before and it's no big deal. However, at Ava's I think they were trying to burn my eyes out. So first, they kept sending me text messages asking me if I was going to show for my appointment - and I said yes every time. I even got there 10 min early. However, the shop was closed. Huh??? A few minutes after my appointment time, I finally texted them and asked if THEY were going to show up. They said they would and finally pulled up 10 minutes later. WTF? So I go in and they start the process to remove my existing lashes. After a minute my eyes started burning. I told the technician and she just said sorry a few times. I asked if she had neutralizing drops. Just got a couple more sorry's. Finally I literally had to grab my eyes and sit up for her to figure out this really fn' hurt. And that was the point where I figured out that the woman doesn't speak fluent English. So of course she didn't respond appropriately when I kept saying that my eyes hurt. Finally the owner (I think) came over and said I was all done. Really? You think! No tip and never stepping foot in that shop again. They had an opportunity to steal my business. Boy, did they blow it. read more

I went in for the mink lash extensions and what she used were DEFINITELY not Mink. I've had my lashes done lots of times and I always get mink lashes because they are lighter, softer and don't feel crunchy and fake. What she put on me were stiff and crunchy synthetics. I even had another licensed lash technician confirm this. But what's worse is that I was physically injured in this salon and the treatment I got afterwards was abhorrent! Read on if you care about your face... While doing my lashes she convinced me to get a facial wax (I have blonde peach fuzz on my face like everyone does, but I thought 'why not...I have a special event this weekend...I'll go the extra step to look good.') I also TOLD HER I had an important event that next day and I couldn't afford to have a messed up face so if she thought there was any chance of that I didn't want to do it. But I guess she wanted my money more than she wanted to admit that was a possibility...So she did my facial waxing, which hurt more than I've experienced in the past, but I brushed it off...then before she would let me see my face she put heavy foundation on me...which I also thought was strange, but also brushed off. I don't wear foundation so when I returned home I washed my face and was appalled to see she had RIPPED SKIN OFF MY FACE in several spots!! I texted her in a panic and asked what I should do and her response was not apologetic or even surprised...she just told me to 'put some cream on it' and then proceeded to ignore my pleas for advice/help. Sure enough the injuries were so raw and oozing that I couldn't even put makeup on them and had to cancel on going to my event. In a couple days scabs formed so it looked even worse. When I messaged her again after this started happening she offered to return $8 ("since only the chin area of my face was injured and that's only $8 out of the $40 for the whole wax") but that I would have to drive the 2 hours round trip from my house to pick up my $8...what a joke! My tip itself was $28! I hate writing a bad review, but I want to save someone else the pain/embarrassment of what happened to me. Please DON'T go to see her before your wedding or other big event. I'm lucky I could cancel mine, but the whole thing still cost me a lot of money and embarrassment. Lesson learned....if someone has a Groupon there is probably a good reason they aren't getting business on their own. She was multitasking so I get it but it made me a little nervous about how my lashes would turn out. If you're looking for a quite atmosphere then this is not the place for you. I don't like to give bad reviews, however, I feel inclined to let future clients of Ava know that she does not conduct her business in a manner that I feel comfortable ignoring. I had an appointment last week and walked out before she could place any chemicals on my lashes due to the following red flags: I was on time, she finally came out to greet me after I sat there for 10 min seeing anyone at the front. Another client came in very upset that her appointment time was messed up and wanted to get in immediately. Her place is not clean. She didn't clean my eyelids prior to starting my lash perm and placed glue on them three times and wondered why the eyelid pads weren't sticking. I had glue all over my lids when I left and my lashes were covered in the mess also. Another client came in and complained as I lay there and was upset that Ava was running late again. Once again the very first client came back and loudly complained that she was suppose to be taken care of immediately. Needless to say it was a nightmare situation so I walked out because I was afraid that Ava wouldn't be able to stop taking care of her upset clients as I lay there with perm solution on my over-glued lids! Please do not get a lash perm here! I have been getting them for three years and have NEVER had the issues I had at this business. I haven't got my lashes done in 5 months so I was super nervous to go to someone new but her name (same as mine) kinda caught my eye so I had to check her out and it was fate! DONT GO HERE FOR LASHES. not only is Ava, the owner, and only employee extremely unprofessional (While working on me she got up and started helping a different client, already after calling me when I got there for my appointment and asked me to come back 2 hours later) and didn't even offer a slight discount or anything. The fans for my volume lashes were not made correctly. They were too thick which made them fall out less than a week later. I look like I haven't gotten a fill in 4 weeks but it's only been a week and a half. There has been eyelash glue stuck to my eyelid and the lashes are constantly poking my eye and turning upside down. I've gotten several lash lifts and this was one of the worst. The process felt very different. My lashes barely looked different and within 2 weeks were pointing downward or straight out. My lifts usually last 6-8 weeks and there's a dramatic difference. I also lost several eye lashes. The day after the lift when I combed my lashes 6 or 7 were in the brush. Every time I comb my lashes I lose some and it's been 4 weeks. I have never lost lashes after a lift or tint! I was getting a lift/tint and on the website it says it's $100. The website also states new clients get 25% their first service. When I was wrung up she said $125. I told her the website I booked through said $100 plus there's a first time client special so shouldn't it be $75? She said looked surprised about the first time customer price and said tinting my lower lashes was an extra $20. That was not mentioned during my service and the website does not say that the price is only for your upper lashes. During my service I also heard another customer getting lash extensions complaining it didn't feel right and she wanted someone else doing them. I will not be going back to this studio. read more

Bought a groupon for microblading& touch up(around$300). I was shocked how much it hurt! She ,Ava, was very nice and patient trying to numb me . Just wasn't working. It looked good to me when I left- wasn't given any aftercare instructions. It looked good about 3 days. Then peeled , when it was done peeling it was faded and patchy. At 6 week check up they really needed to be made the same shape, as soon as I left ; peeled and most of it gone. So disappointed !! They aren't as full and they are constantly falling out and twisting in weird ways. She has also hurt me pretty good a few times during removal. The pricing is always funky too. I usually never write reviews but I am still so furious with my last visit at Ava's studio. I had an appointment booked at 2:45pm with Ava for a 2 week eyelash refill and showed up 10 minutes early. At about 2:50 Ava came out and said she was running behind and will get me in at 3:15. That's already 30 minutes AFTER my appointment time. She did seat me in a room with a massage chair and where it wasn't as hot as the waiting area. I tried to be patient and understanding til I had realized I had been sitting in the massage chair til 3:25.. I had been waiting for 40 minutes from when my appointment was supposed to initially start. The other lady there finally had me go into the room where my lashes would get done and I still laid there for about 5 minutes until Ava started.. 45 MINUTES.. that's almost an hour!!! I understood that Ava was running behind so I tried to be considerate. She started on my lashes and I told her this time I wanted more volume. I did my research and knew that the price for volume was $65 dollars which was fine.. i really wish they did a little more consultation on what service they were going to give me.. because at the end of my session I had to pay $80!!! I did NOT ask for a Russian refill.. I asked for more volume... if I had known that I was going wait almost AN HOUR for my session to start and have to pay WAY more than I expected I would've cancelled my appointment from the very beginning. I would have expressed how I felt while I was there but I was so furious I just wanted to get out of there.. on top of it ending so late and knowing I was already going to be sitting in traffic on my way home made it even worse. As bad as my last experience was I absolutely love my lashes. Ava did a wonderful job. You can tell she in very passionate about what she does cause she used up every minute she had to make sure my lashes were beautiful. Which is why I gave at least 2 stars. The Russian fill is amazing but way to expensive for a 2 week refill. I had an appointment with a reminder the day before and we came half an hour early - even texted her to let her know I was on my way. Appointment time came no response - after waiting over half an hour we left. She called later and told us to come back. If the price wasn't so cheap and I've been waiting for weeks to do my microblading - I wouldn't have turned around. I should have trusted my first instinct and went home. The procedure was very painful even though she numbed me and said it wasn't going to hurt. My eyebrows are crooked - I would definitely recommend going to a different place and ask for referrals. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE, SAVE YOURSELF!! I would like to preface this with the fact that I have had many facials before and do not like giving bad reviews!! I was gifted a voucher for a facial here and wish I had never gone! I arrived at the time of my appointment and sat for almost an hour before Ava took me back. She had another person she was doing lashes on and finished her lashes and didn't even apologize for being late. I was finally pulled back into a room, and she didn't even ask me what type of facial I would like to have done. After commenting on how oily my skin was, she continued to mention how bad my skin was, THAT IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. While doing EXTREMELY ROUGH extractions on my face, Ava continued to comment on my pores and acne. Ava didn't provide a service, she put some cream on my face and a 3$ sheet face mask that I could've gotten at target. By the end of the facial I was mortified due to the insults and that this place is even open. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. After the facial I went up to the front to leave, and Ava said that I owed money because the voucher was not enough and I didn't "read the fine print" but I was not the one that purchased the voucher, I let her know that she did not clarify any of this when I called THREE TIMES about using the voucher!! I tried negotiating with her for 10 minutes and Ava kept saying that she was doing me a favor. Ava charged me 75$ for a service that I didn't even ask for!!! After leaving and realizing that I made the mistake of paying for a service I was VERY UNHAPPY with, I called and asked for a refund. Ava refused, and argued with me for ANOTHER 10 minutes and then she HUNG UP ON ME!!! Please, save yourself so much trouble and manipulation and go anywhere else for lashes or facials!! read more
