My loved one has been living in the mountains at Stonehenge Senior Living in Blairsville, Georgia for over two years. The facility is clean. Staff member care about each resident. They are diligent with medications. The staff, especially Tonja and Nicole, in building #5 are good at communicating with me regarding any issues that arise with my loved one. My loved one's clothes have never once "gone missing" in the wash. (Another facility my loved one was briefly in lost almost every piece of clothing owned.) Along with a door to the resident's room from the interior of the building where residents walk to attend lunch, movies, and other activities, they also have their own "back door" to the grounds to enter and exit the room. This is not a common find. Each room in Building 5 has its own thermostat . Not all facilities provide this luxury. Daily activities, such as Bingo, Karaoke, Movies, Pool parties and a Fourth of July firework show that would impress even the most discriminating firework aficionados are offered. The freshly manicured and mulched gardens at Stonehenge offer the best of the mountains. Especially in building #5, I highly recommend Stonehenge Senior Living. For seniors, who need some assistance with their daily care, I am grateful to Mitch and Linda for making this beautiful property available .

These are significant vacancies! Additionally, the one elevator has been out of service several times in the past month! It becomes a burden when the staff who are there must cover the work of vacancies or absent employees! Caring for the elderly is a challenging job! They need to hire good people and support them both financially and by providing a healthy work environment! It seems that when CSIG purchased 3 other properties in the Chattanooga area, their focus has shifted. It feels like our facility is on life support and I feel badly for the staff who work so hard!!

As an RN with over 20 years experience, I did through research on Chattanooga area assisted living. I then took her around to visit these places so we could make make a choice. Although Summitview was an old building, the staff was GREAT! They were the most accommodating on things such as special diets, were the most affordable, and didn't have add-on or hidden charges Most important of all, my mother felt more comfortable there. After 2 years, she died at Summittview in her sleep. They had never raised their prices but more importantly, they provided excellent care. I will always be grateful to them and would highly recommend them.
