During my 64 days in treatment, I was moved an average of every 12 days. That kind of instability makes it impossible to focus on recovery or feel safe. I reported multiple times that my roommate was misusing substances, but nothing was done until she ended up on a ventilator. Controlled substances also went missing from the safe, with no explanation given. The response was "maybe they were sent to be destroyed," but that is not protocol, and it left me with no trust in how medications are handled. Clients are regularly used as free labor instead of the facility properly managing operations. I personally put about 400 miles on my truck, made dump runs, and even fixed plumbing that saved the facility hundreds of dollars--all while being charged rent and while insurance was being billed. Instead of addressing unsafe or unsanitary conditions, clients are pushed to do the work. That is exploitation, not treatment. Staff frequently violate HIPAA laws by openly sharing information about other clients that I should never have been privy to. If they're speaking so freely about others, there's no reason to believe my own private information isn't being shared as well. The integrity of this establishment has completely diminished. They are also short staffed because therapists are quitting under the weight of unmanageable caseloads. When I signed up, substance abuse and mental health clients were separated--but now, due to the lack of staff, all cases are blended together. This has only worsened everyone's mental health. The housing director in particular is unprofessional. She sent me and other female clients multiple pictures of her engagement photos, talked about her 4.5k engagement ring, and openly made housing a social environment centered around her personal life instead of the clients' recovery. With her and her husband both working for the company, it raises real questions about where the rent and insurance money is going, especially when clients are living in deplorable housing conditions. There are also ongoing issues of clients engaging in sexual relationships within housing--something that has been ignored instead of addressed, creating unsafe and unhealthy dynamics. I was threatened multiple times by other clients and instead of being protected, I was threatened with being moved when I had done nothing wrong. Seeing staff post on Facebook about how they "won't be a punching bag" while clients are literally treated as punching bags--pushed around, unheard, exploited, and disrespected--only adds insult to injury. The reality behind the scenes is nothing like the image they try to promote. Harmony Oaks needs to be held accountable for their practices. Clients come here at their most vulnerable, paying rent and insurance with the hope of getting help. Instead, they are met with instability, unsafe conditions, privacy violations, and a lack of true therapeutic support. This place does far more harm than good.

From the moment I arrived, I felt supported by both the staff and the other clients. The environment was structured, organized, and focused on helping people build healthier lives. Any concerns that came up were addressed professionally, and I always felt safe and respected throughout my stay. The staff consistently demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and genuine care for the well-being of every client. Therapists were attentive and invested in helping us work through challenges, and the housing staff did an excellent job creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. It was clear that everyone was working toward the same goal: helping clients succeed in recovery. I also appreciated the sense of community that was encouraged. Clients were given opportunities to contribute and take responsibility, which helped build confidence and accountability. Rather than feeling exploited, I felt empowered to be part of a supportive environment where everyone worked together. Privacy and confidentiality were taken seriously, and I always felt that my personal information was handled appropriately. The staff maintained professional boundaries while still being approachable and caring. The housing was comfortable, clean, and well-managed. Whenever maintenance or operational issues arose, they were handled promptly. The staff worked hard to ensure residents had what they needed to focus on recovery. Most importantly, Harmony Oaks provided stability during a difficult time in my life. The encouragement, therapy, and support I received helped me make meaningful progress toward my goals. Recovery isn't easy, but having a dedicated team behind me made all the difference. I am grateful for my time at Harmony Oaks and would recommend it to anyone seeking a supportive and recovery-focused environment. The counselors, techs, and nurses met us where we were and gave us the support they need. My counselor was very beneficial to me, I wish I could see them now after leaving the facility. I always felt safe with the nurses and the techs; when I would report a concern about a med, etc. to a nurse they were receptive and listened. Admissions team was really helpful and answered all of my questions. I can't say enough good things about this place. It changed my life.

Mckenzie at reception was friendly and efficient checking me in. Emily, the nurse who took my vitals and history was another person with a warm personality and nice professional approach to the tasks at hand. My visit with the nurse practitioner, Colleen just blew me out of the water. Pleasant, quick to grasp what I was asking for and even faster in meeting my needs. The whole place runs smooth as silk and after working 45 years in healthcare, I am usually NOT impressed. But, wow, I think I have found my go-to urgent care for the future. I was in and out in 45 minutes. I usually wait that long to just get back to an exam room. Keep up the great work and the great attitude. Job well done by all.

The dispute was not with Vicki Cooke my former NP, she had never talked to me about it, she was out of town during this time.... I guess it's common practice now to have no say so about your care. Regardless, you discharged me as a patient, fine, I will go someplace else... My complaint, you sent out a certified letter in January, or you say you did, you wouldn't show me the receipts. I never received any letter, why would I have shown up for an appnt if I had received it. I had an appnt scheduled on 6/14 since my last appnt in December of 2017. I received a call to confirm my appointment, I asked to change the appnt to today's date. Yesterday I received a call to confirm my appointment. I came in for my appnt, I was asked to update paper work and then taken back to a room.... It was then I was finally approached about the letter that was "sent" out in January. Vicki Cooke would not even come and talk to me. I was humiliated and all of this was over a dispute with a very rude staff member about antibiotics for a sinus infection. Today I came in with a black eye and a hurt shoulder from a fall yesterday, I thought I was going to have it looked at. . I guess I need to find a new doctor to take a look at it.... My advice to the staff there, if you discharge someone as a patient make sure your staff and the patient knows about it. And to Vicki Cooke, I suggest you take the time to talk to your patients before you make rash, uninformed decisions. I'm truly baffled at this, all over antibiotics for a sinus infection.

I have experienced nothing but kindness and care from Vicki and her staff. It's unusual for a Dr anymore to sit down with you and look you in the eyes and ask how you are doing....
