There are several adjacent, straight runs (apparently 22, but not all utilized on our warm February day) which provide a decent and safe velocity for young and old alike. There's a conveyor/escalator type of tow that allows tubers to stand and hold their tube to get up the hill. Here's the downside... $55 for 2 hours is steep! Especially for the lack of variety in slope. The food and souvenirs are also way overpriced and it feels unreasonable for a large family to pay to go tubing here. Based on the prices online, it would be better to get a lift ticket and ski rental and have the day to ski, than to pay for 2 hours of tubing. I still recommend Wilmot for the experience. For my neighbors in the Chicago suburbs, it is a nice change of pace for a winter activity.

These people have been doing this for a long time and have it all figured out. Definitely either do season rentals at Viking or bring your own gear. Renting each week up there sucks. The only suggestion for the school is that they could be much more responsive to answering parent emails. Hard to have patience for that. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

Lifts run at a reasonably faster speed than competing ski resorts. Runs are also longer than competing resorts. I would say the runs are softer than other resorts, so you can feel good going down Midwest black diamonds. They have ski and snowboard rentals including the shoes. Rental fees are separate. Decent amount of runs and lifts. Their food is great wait staff is helpful and friendly and the wait for food doesn't take too long. The lodge cafe offers hot drinks, bar food, bar, and sometimes live music! It's a nice nearby getaway for folks from the Milwaukee and Illinois area. Parking is also decent. They also have lockers for small and big sizes. Small ones cost 75cents each time you open the locker. $20 for all day. I'd definitely come back for a nice nearby drive away.

Neither of us had been here before, so it was a little risky not knowing the club at all. There was plenty of parking, and we got there early so we'd have time to chat. Kim, the owner, greeted us as we came into the place, and we immediately felt warmly welcomed and excited to be there! Since I had purchased tickets online, Kim had reserved our seats in advance. She walked us back to the event area, which looked clean and inviting (although it was a little bright for my personal preference). Every seat in the place is a good seat; there were essentially 4 "rows" of seats, with 2 people in 1 row sharing a table, and then 2 people directly behind them sharing the same table. Both acts in the show were hilarious: Kristen Toomey and Chelsea Hood. They both interacted with the audience. We had a fantastic time! Oh, they also offer water, soda, popcorn, and M&M peanuts for purchase. We will definitely be back here to enjoy more comedy!
