Onyx- the contractor was helpful and gave suggestions. Cons: -ZERO COMMUNICATION!! -The owner is rude and condescending. I have a unique home and I needed some expert guidance on how to place the awnings so they would not be in the way of foot traffic. She gave me an incredibly hard time to meet this demand. -I tried to meet with someone in March on the weekend since this is not our primary residence. I was told they could not accommodate, and then was berated when she called and asked if I was there on a Saturday and was not. In April when we finally met in the middle of the week, I was told that I had to pay an extra fee because now it was prime season. Also it would take 8 weeks. I said ok. IT TOOK 16 WEEKS!! I just got them up in August. -I was not informed that the awning were being installed. I only knew from our cameras. -Owner demanded a final payment when I was already down the shore. (this was not communicated or I would have been prepared) Again this is not my primary residence.
