I wanted to share a personal review of Ivy Park at Rockville. I moved my mother there in March 2024…read moreafter she had previously been at a facility that did not provide the level of care she deserved. My mother sadly passed away on February 18, 2026. During her time at Ivy Park, I witnessed the staff's compassion and dedication. While no place is perfect, Tedra Godfrey consistently treated my mother with dignity, kindness, and respect through her final days. That meant a great deal to our family. Because I live on the East Coast, managing my mother's care from a distance was often challenging. Tedra and the staff helped ease that burden by providing weekly update calls and closely monitoring my mother's daily routine. Their communication and attentiveness gave me reassurance that my mother was being well cared for, even when I couldn't be there in person. No assisted living facility can truly replace the comfort of having our parents at home with us, but Ivy Park does a very good job of helping to fill that gap. For anyone seeking an assisted living community that provides compassionate, attentive care, I would recommend Ivy Park under the leadership of Tedra Godfrey. I would also like to extend a special thank you to Assisted Living and Memory Care Director Denisha Lewis, Senior Med Tech Angela Morgan, Head Chef Frank Minor, and all the caregivers who were with my mother on a daily basis. I am deeply grateful for the love, care, and support you showed my mother. Thank you. Craig W

The wide variety of food is fine dining quality. This clean and open facility has a very homey feel and staff treats my father with dignity and appropriate, prompt care and attention! Barely there a month and had to go to rehab for broken hip for 3 weeks. Traumatic situation happen to her on a Friday and she died the following Thursday. I can't prove anything, but know in my heart she was neglected for at least an hour before she was found. She just couldn't recover from that terrible situation. Suggestion to the team, take a picture when an incident occurs to learn from it. Follow thru with night time protocols to protect them. Put bed alarms somewhere to be heard at all times. If that is impossible, have someone sitting in nurses station or in hear shot of the alarms. Our loved ones are already in a strange place and don't understand the things they are going thru whether it is Dementia, Alzheimer's, or Parkinson's. Pay your caretakers more then $17 an hour. Especially when residents are paying thousands and thousands of dollars for care. You say you care for your residents.....

Staff and residents present did not represent the demographic of the area but its also pretty expensive. This is a CCRC meaning you pay a hefty fee before moving in, and you also pay monthly fees. My parents used to live at PVE also and they were well taken care of - but it has gotten even better. The staff is continually monitoring the needs of residents to make us feel like the community it is. They are always looking for resident input. PVE is over 70 acres of beautifully maintained landscaping and trees - making walks with our pets a time of relaxation. The fact that everything is included in one price makes it very easy to budget. We welcome our guests and family to visit as it is fun to show them around the Suisun Valley wine country 15 minutes away.

But, she just recently found out that the security guard that has been securing this community for the past few years is being let go because of the new fencing and she feels really uneasy (as do other resident friends of her) not knowing who she will call to respond quickly for any incident as she's been able to do in the past with this security guard at any time of the night or day. I personally have seen this security guard locking up the top entrance gate late nights and at various times when it was left open. I was also in the parking lot when I saw this security guard help a senior who had fallen in the bushes and also saw this guard help when a senior needed to move their vehicle because of a medical issue. I enjoy visiting her and the facility is very beautiful and well-kept and the people who work here are very courteous, as was the security guard who will now be sorely missed by my family member.
