Doug and Leslie were very affordable compared to other photographers we talked to. We met with them over dinner and looked at some of their work and albums they brought with them. Everything looked good to us and the price was right. We signed up for engagement pictures & the wedding package. We had a really fun shoot for engagement pics at the Waterfront Park in Mt. Pleasant. It was a beautiful day & they had some really good ideas for pics. Pictures were on line in no time, we had our CD with all the shots and our 11x14 and 2 8x10's were delivered in a very timely fashion. The day of the wedding was no different. They were at the location before I got there and very professional. They took an unbelievable amount of pictures (it was almost impossible to narrow down which we wanted for the album!) And we've gotten numerous compliments on some of the poses that we never would've thought of without their experience and eye! The pictures taken between the ceremony & reception moved along smoothly and quickly. They fit right in at the reception and we all had a blast! And, again, they took pictures that I never would have thought to take & they look great in our album. It did take quite a while for our albums to get to us (only reason my review isn't 5 stars!), but they were worth the wait. My mother-in-law almost cried when she got hers. I understand people wanting what they've already paid for, and it was difficult to be patient, but having all the pics on CD already and on the website allowed us to share with all our friends and family without the album. My experience with Doug and Leslie was a little different than the other reviews I've seen on here. I agree completely with this excerpt from Jami S.'s review: "My opinion is that if you are a bride and groom that are very laid back and don't care when you get your albums and other things that you pay for and want to save some money, hire them. They did do great work with the photography." However, if you're going to be in a huge hurry for your album you may want to pay more somewhere else! I am very pleased with the work they did and the package was very reasonably priced. All it took was a little patience to save hundreds of dollars with the same end result...beautiful pictures and memories that will last a life time! Thanks Doug & Leslie! - April R.

Well, we have finally gotten our albums! Shocking I know. I thought I would never see them. My…read morehusband and I got an email from the owners before Christmas letting us know that our albums were in from the printers. So, my husband responded that we would look for them in the mail, so we could share them with our families over the Christmas holiday. We received a response that they would not send the albums in the mail. So my husband responded again that we would expect the albums in the mail, as we had already paid for them (does this sound familiar to anyone?). They responded...we will be back in the area after the new year. Again, not professional, not courteous, nor customer friendly. So, we did nothing. And I had decided that I was going to do nothing else...if we never got the albums oh well! Well, January 10th when I got home from work there were the albums on the doorstep (via the post office). Wow. And I have to admit, they weren't horrible, the pictures weren't in order like I had requested, but hey... So, all in all, I still give the company only one star because of the stress they caused us and their lack of business ethics and practices are astounding. However, I will again praise their actual photography work - I have no complaints about that - and the albums were totally acceptable.
