I got a strawberry fruit tea to drink and it was so refreshing and not overly sweet at all!! It wasn't too busy whenever we stopped by so our food came out fast and HOT! I waited until our pho came out to try the fried eggs rolls but they were flavorful and juicy! The pho also came out hot but perfect!! That beef broth is so comforting and savory. The Bún Bò Huế lacked the traditional rich flavor I'm used to, but it tasted clean and wasn't oily. It also didn't include the traditional pork blood, but mixing in shrimp paste, lime, fish sauce, and chili helped bring it closer to the authentic flavor. The food stayed hot in the metal bowl which was nice. The Bò Lúc Lắc arrived hot and sizzling, just as advertised. The beef was flavorful and cooked well. One thing to note is that it came with white rice rather than the fried rice shown on the menu description. The food was good, and I'd probably come back, but I'd try a different location because the service at this one was disappointing and ruined the experience. Andrew was very helpful, but the other two employees spent most of the time on their phones with their backs turned toward the dining room, making it difficult to get their attention. We had to get up ourselves to ask for a water refill. While in the middle of eating, one of the girls brought our check and said, "Whenever you're ready, no rush." It felt like we were being rushed out while I was still actively eating and it wasn't busy. What was especially disappointing was that she never asked how our food was or whether we wanted to order anything else before closing out our tab. My Mi Kho was also really good. The broth was nice and rich and the Noodles themself were light and easy to eat with the sweet soy sauce. The atmosphere, particularly in daytime when light shines in through the restaurant front makes for a really comforting and open experience. She still hadn't come out. You could literally hear TikToks or Reels playing from inside too.And I get it because I've been there. I've gone to the restroom at work and sat on my phone for a little bit too, so I'm not judging someone for taking a few extra minutes. But when you hear someone knock or hear them trying the door, I feel like that should be your clue that somebody is waiting to use the restroom and it's probably time to wrap it up. Especially when you're the hostess and you're also supposed to be up front seating people.The food was good and our server did a great job, but the whole situation with the hostess was just really unprofessional and honestly irritating.
