And I didn't realize until after my Alpine Vision Center visit, other places are very high pressure and pushy. I felt none of that here. Everyone was thorough and informative with me, without making me feel pressured to do or buy anything. Will definitely tell my friends and family to go to Alpine Vision Center.

The first pair of glasses came after 2 weeks. The second pair has still not come as of June 14, 2024. A couple of weeks ago i stopped by after being told the other pair was in. When I got there they said they had made a mistake and the other pair wasn't in. They told me they'd reach out again when they came in. Last Friday I called during business hours and no-one answered. I stopped by on my way to work and there was a sign saying they were closed for training. I called on Monday and nobody answered during business hours. I stopped by again and was told that they would reach out to the company and call me on Tuesday. Did they call? Nope. I tried calling again on Thursday and surprise, no answer. I stopped by again. I was not happy and let the lady at the front desk know it. Instead of apologizing, she said, "As you can see we are quite busy and have a lot of customers here in the office." They are going to have one less customer to deal with. They actually sent me a message this morning, via text, telling me to reach out to my safety supervisor to see what's going on with my order. That front desk person has no business being in front of customers with her attitude. I had to call 4 times across 2 days before I got ahold of someone here and never got a call back. On the 5th call, once I did finally get ahold of someone, 15 minutes into the call I still didn't have an appointment and had to go to a meeting and asked them to call me back in an hour which they agreed to do. 4 hours later after not receiving a call I had to call back in twice more over the next day to finally get ahold of someone and start all over once again. All I needed was a standard annual appointment and a corneal topography. They stated that this was no problem and part of their routine annual exam anyway. The next day I got another call from them in which they said (direct quote) "I'm just wondering why you want the corneal topography..." firstly, that's none of your concern, secondly, you already stated it was standard practice so why does it matter? 2 days before my appointment I get another call which I miss and they left a voicemail saying they moved my appointment a day earlier (without my permission) but I decide I'm already this deep so let's just finish it out. I show up to my appointment and the receptionist says that my appointment is tomorrow (the original time). At that point I cancelled my appointment because this is just insanity. You would think it would end there but 2 hours later I get a reminder for my appointment which I had canceled in person earlier that day. I have no idea how this place is still open, maybe the doctors are phenomenal. I truly can't speak to them and their expertise as I couldn't even get that far. You need a complete overhaul of your entire operating procedures. Good luck!

I started having visions in…read morethe morning and I called in for help and they told me I absolutely had to be seen by them today but to come in at 4 PM. They demanded insurance when I walked in, and I spent 50 minutes on the phone, looking it up to them before they finally informed me that they needed my health insurance instead of my vision. It took me five minutes to get my health insurance information when they inform me that it was too late and they were closing for the day so I had to go home and just hope I don't go blind. Stay away from this clinic at all costs!!!

They have many options including blue blocking light and lighter weight lenses. Progressive lenses and ones that turn from dark to light, light to dark, in the sun. Many frames and options. As a new patient with no eye issues, I simply needed an eye exam and new contacts. I was charged for the following: Comprehensive Exam (New Patient): $215 Determination of Refractive State: $42 Contact Lens Fit/Evaluation Level 1: $75 Optos Wellness Scan: $35 Total charges came to $367 before insurance. After insurance adjustments and payments, I still paid $95 out of pocket ($35 at the appointment and another $60 balance). What disappointed me was that I wasn't coming in with any special concerns. I just needed new contacts, yet it felt like every possible service was added. I was also quoted $332 for a year's supply of contacts. I decided to go to Costco instead, and after my VSP benefits, I paid only about $40 for my contacts. Compared to what I would have spent here, the choice was easy. To be fair, the doctor was very nice, professional, and helpful. My issue was not with the doctor, but with the overall experience and the billing. The staff interaction was below average, and I left feeling disappointed. The $95 I paid out of pocket here would have covered my full eye exam at Costco. My advice is to do your research and read the reviews carefully. Dont ignore what people say. I did and unfortunately I paid for it, based on my experience, I will not be returning.

The best part about this place is the provider Dr Pierce! Every appointment I've ever had at an optometrist felt like I was at a "vision mill" where they just check your prescription and try to get you out of the clinic as fast as possible to see the next patient. Dr Pierce took the time to break down the results of all of my test results in depth; perhaps since I'm an aspiring PA he could tell my nerdy passion for anatomy and went in greater depth because he noticed I appreciated it, but even still that's just the sign of an excellent provider! I never felt rushed during my appointment and he answered all of my questions about how to improve my dry eyes and even gave me regimen advice for hot compress as well as eye drop and eye health supplementation suggestions. I am so happy with my experience and to now have an optometry office I look forward to using exclusively for all my vision needs.
