I never have problem with parking. The optometrist is nice and helpful, and the ladies in the front are great. The lady who ran the area for purchasing glasses is also friendly and does not push for expensive upgrades. I have been here before and thought everything was just great but coming with my dad who is wheelchair bound made me realize how inaccessible this place is. 1. No handicap automatic door. Getting through the door was a hassle because I had to hold the door open while trying to maneuver the wheelchair. 2. Unaware staff. The tech who did the initial exams did not know how to deal with someone in a wheelchair and was not making accommodations. I had to move things around, including machinery, so that my dad could access them. 3. Having to transfer to the exam chair. Hear me out. I am 5'3" and my dad is 6'2". Helping him transfer was not an easy task and the tech was no help--I had to ask her to move a chair out of the way and she did not know the foot rest moved (and figured it when it was too late). I hope that there are other optometrists that have accommodations for people in wheelchair, and next time I take my dad anywhere, I'll make sure to ask about accommodations and staff training.

Dr. Howell immediately identified the issue and got to work correcting it, having had years of experience with children and this condition. Dr. Howell is patient, kind, and makes the exams fun with "games" and prizes at the end to the point that my little guy requests I make more appointments. Additionally it is obvious that Dr. Howell truly cares for his patients more than his payout. I trust 1000% that my expenses are fair and necessary- something I've questioned at other places. When I left there I finally had faith restored in at least one eye doctor! If eyes could breath a sigh of relief that's how my eyes felt. Also, NO headaches with my new prescription!!!! Ordered a pair of glasses and they arrived 10 days later. When my wife put on the glasses she…read morethought they were off. She told the technician they seemed not quite right. The technician said to keep wearing them for a few days to get used to them. But did as instructed and wore them for a few more days. Finally my wife went back and after my wife insisted they test the prescription, the discovered they were not the right prescription. So they called the lab and ordered another set with the correct prescription. TEN DAYS LATER she finally had the right pair of glasses. This past weekend, my wife thought she lost her glasses. She called to inquire about if there was any guarantee or if she could get a replacement on discount or something. She also wanted to know how long it would take to get a new pair of glasses. She was told there was still a TEN DAY lead time for a new pair of glasses. She was also told there for no insurance, discount or any price breaks. She would be charged the same amount (MORE THAN $400) for a replacement pair. She thanked them for answering their questions. The next business day we got a call from the place we had been at this past weekend saying they had found her glasses. We called in to Advanced Eye Care and left a message because it was after hours. We told them that we were super happy that we would not be needing any replacement glasses after all so not to worry about ordering a new pair. This was 24 hours after our phone call with them. The next day, today, my wife got a follow up phone call from them. They said that the glasses had been ordered and that they were almost completely finished making them. So she would have to pay anyway. She was flabbergasted that they had: 1 - Ordered a replacement pair of glasses without her coming in to sign anything. 2 - That not all of the sudden glasses are almost completed in 24 hours when previously they had estimated 10 BUSINESS DAYS 3 - Would not cancel the order they had made without her consent. I called in to discuss as English is not my wife's first language. I hoped they would be more reasonable. They were not. I talked to Karen first and she quickly transferred me to her manager, Mari. I was told by Mari that the lab has jumped on getting these glasses made and that because my wife had gotten glasses made at that label in the past. She said they already had her 'prescription on file. Also she said had a right to bill us whatever charges they wanted to because of the following: When my wife came in for her first eye exam she has supposedly signed something that agreed to let them charge us for anything they felt we had supposedly agreed to. She acknowledged that there was never any written agreement and that the whole thing was based of of Mari's understanding of one phone conversation. Mari said we would hear from their lawyers even though they were the ones who jumped the gun and ordered glasses without written authorization. She then asked me "I don't understand what you problem is?" Mari ended up hanging up on me mid sentence. Mari and I only spoke for less then 5 minutes total. Needless to say, We would not recommend them to anyone in the future. We have had a very negative experience!!!!!! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!! They might order something for you and attempt to charge you for it.

As soon as I got there I told them I already have my prescription and I was only there to pick up new frames since they are the only one that carries that brand. Honestly at first i didn't have a good impression of Rachel (long dark hair), but Ray (with short hair) was really the exact opposite, nice and very personable. I figured, well I got no choice since they are the only place I know that carries the frames I want so didn't really care how they treat me. The process didn't go smoothly than I thought because my eye doctor had to release the authorization so Jordan Vision can bill my insurance. The long process actually helped me to get to know Rachel and I ended up liking both ladies. I ordered my glasses Saturday and got them Wednesday BUT there was a problem with how they cut the lenses. I had to return them and they had to redo it because of how they cut the lenses. They were apologetic about it and told me they will replace it but this time they will send it to the lab to make sure there's no screw up this time. Yeah it was annoying because we had to drive all the way from Utah county back and fort but I know it wasn't their fault. Still giving this place a 5 because the ladies here, Ray and Rachel and another more mature lady make this place. They make the customers feel at ease and don't rush them into choosing which frames to get, they have good variations and carry lots of brands. First off, we obtained EyeMed insurance because we were told by this office that they accept EyeMed. We signed up for EyeMed the same day we made the scheduled appointment. Our EyeMed insurance started May 1st which is why we scheduled the appointment for May 1st... Anywho...since we scheduled this appointment a month in advance, we were going in with high-hopes and excited to get a referral for surgery. The day before our appointment, April 30th, my sister got a call from Garrett asking about her insurance. He said he couldn't find her in the system, and asked her if she was sure that she signed up for eye insurance and not dental insurance! DENTAL INSURANCE? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!? The insurance is called EYEMED! This guy is as dumb as a stack of bricks! My sister told me about it, and I called the office and told Garrett that the insurance starts May 1st which is probably why he couldn't find us. He said he would check on it in the morning. Morning came, and my sister got more calls from Garrett asking about her insurance, and he even left me a voicemail asking for my social security #! He said he still couldn't find either one of us. We told him we will work on it when we came into the office. We got to our schedule appointment, and he took our insurance cards for verification. He then called the insurance to verify if it was active. Half an hour passes and he finally finishes his calls. He said their office does not take EyeMed, at least the one we sighed up for! WHY THE FUCK DID THEY TELL US TO SIGN UP FOR EYEMED, AND NOT TELL US THAT IT HAD TO BE A SPECIFIC EYEMED?!? Garrett said we could Google search eye doctors in the area and call them to see if they take our specific EyeMed! At this point, we were completely furious and just walked out as he was still talking. We Googled eye doctors near us, and found one down the street called Healthy Eyes For Life, and we went in and talked to them about their services, and what insurances they accept. They accepted our insurance, so we scheduled their next available appointment on May 10th. They were so helpful and nice, and we felt a lot better working with them instead. While we were scheduling our appointments at Healthy Eyes For Life, I got a call from Dr. Meek at Jordan Vision Clinic and he apologized for not being able to take our insurance. I told him that his staff referred us to EyeMed in the first place, and we had to drive all the way up from Spanish Fork for nothing! We would have loved to be seen by Dr. Meek at Jordan Vision Clinic, but we did not like the way we were treated, and hated the fact that the insurance that they referred us to is not actually accepted at their office.
