I don't want to identify myself while my case is still unresolved and risk having my case sabotaged before I have the chance to find another attorney after they've dragged me along for nearly two years. I genuinely feel bad for the staff because my case manager was always responsive. It seemed like she was the only one making an effort because the attorney who was supposedly assigned to my case never communicated with me--not once. And that's considering I had two "case managers" during the duration of my case. After nearly two years, I never had a single conversation with the attorney who was supposedly representing me. I did everything they asked of me. I attended therapy, provided witnesses, gathered evidence, and followed every instruction they gave me. Despite all of that, they never filed my case. Now, after almost two years, they've decided to drop my case, saying it "isn't feasible to pursue." If that was truly the case, why did they accept it in the first place? Why continue representing me for nearly two years if you never intended to take it to court? If my case was so weak that it wasn't worth pursuing, you should have been honest from the beginning instead of wasting valuable time that I can never get back. To make matters worse, after keeping me in limbo all this time, they tell me I now have only a limited amount of time left to find another attorney and pursue my claim. Their delay has put me in a far more difficult position than I would have been in had they simply declined my case from the start. Based on my experience, this firm appears to be more interested in cases that lead to quick settlements than in genuinely advocating for their clients. If that's not the case, then their lack of commitment is deeply concerning. Either way, my experience has been extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this firm.

Despite informing them that there were cameras near the roundabout where the crash occurred, they never followed up with the Oxnard Police Department to request or subpoena the footage. Months later, we unexpectedly received notice from our insurance company that arbitration had already taken place--and that we were found 100% at fault. When we contacted ME Lawyers for an explanation, they seemed completely unaware the arbitration had even happened, and all the while telling us they were still communicating with the other party's insurance. After promising to "keep fighting," they dropped us as clients shortly after via text message (can't even call) and even blocked our number before we could even reach out to ask why. The lack of accountability, communication, and professionalism was astonishing. At this point, I can only assume the "ME" in ME Lawyers stands for Mediocre Effort.
