I had an severe injury to my left leg, but they wasted my time having me put little colored beads in little cups and more. They told me I had to do Occupional Therapy before doing Physical Therapy. All the PT entailed was lifting my leg 10 times from a sitting posistion with an ankle wearing a weight. Most of my time in therapy was watching others doing their thing. The staff were friendly and the meals were tollerable. Some of the permenant inmates were not very nice people, they thought they owned the place. In the dining room which most inmates did not use you could not sit just anywhere, you were told by resident inmates whose seat was whose. I will not post about the worst part of my experiance.

Put me in a room with a woman who would not turn her TV off all night and no one would stop her. Beds were only a few feet from each other. This is supposed to be a place to rest, rehab and heal, not an all night TV show. Finally put up a big enough fuss so that I was moved. Never again. Do not recommend.

There was no place for a wheelchair plus two visitors to sit. They put me in a room with an elderly woman who had dementia and was incontinent. She yelled at all hours of the day and night. When I asked to be moved, they had no beds available. This was supposed to be a place for me to rest, recuperate, and rehab after fairly serious surgery and it was a nightmare. The only plus was a decent physical therapy staff and program. Most of the staff seemed overworked and was sullen and unfriendly. I didn't request much, but every request was treated as if it was an imposition and a burden. 90% of the time there was never a real RN around and some of the unsupervised assistants were teenage high school girls. Never again!

The whole time she was at this place we were not able to get in touch with my mom on the phone either the phone would ring 2 times and hang up or it wouldn't ring at all and drop the call. the staff here have shitty attitudes no communication skills at all and horrid bedside manner. Not to mention negligent... just last week my mother was rushed to the hospital because she was throwing up couldn't hold anything down and we had no idea no one ever called us. So for the first 4 days my mom was at the hospital she was alone and had no idea why she was there, my mom has dementia, when my daughter went to this place to pick her up to bring her over to our house to hang out for her birthday we called that morning to let them know we would-be coming to pick her up and nothing was mentioned, my daughter gets there and was told oh she's not here she's in the hospital, so my daughter goes to the hospital to see what's going on, and I call citrus and was told that it says in her chart that they talked to my moms' granddaughter to tell someone however no such call ever took place no one in my family spoke to anyone at all. The reason my mom was at the hospital was because she had a 45mm kidney stone in her right kidney, and it was blocking her kidney she also had a 27mm and 11mm kidney stones as well as a terrible UTI that she had had for a long time. Now you mean to tell me that my mom wasn't having any symptoms at all?? I find that very, very hard to believe. So because the staff here is down right lazy and negligent as fuck my mom was on the border of sepsis when she got to the ER. The point of my rant here is this... I ALMOST LOST MY MOM BECAUSE OF THIS PLACE. AND IF YOU LOOK THROUGH THE REVIEWS ON HERE MY MOM IS SADLY NOT THE ONLY ONE AND WORSE WON'T BE THE LAST.
