A horror show. The rooms are tiny, originally meant for one patient but now they hold two. My roommate's bed was 1 1/2 feet from mine with only a curtain in between. There was no place for a wheelchair plus two visitors to sit. They put me in a room with an elderly woman who had dementia and was incontinent. She yelled at all hours of the day and night. When I asked to be moved, they had no beds available. This was supposed to be a place for me to rest, recuperate, and rehab after fairly serious surgery and it was a nightmare. The only plus was a decent physical therapy staff and program. Most of the staff seemed overworked and was sullen and unfriendly. I didn't request much, but every request was treated as if it was an imposition and a burden. 90% of the time there was never a real RN around and some of the unsupervised assistants were teenage high school girls. Never again! read more

The Nurse Giselle took the keys to the medication cart with her and apparently there was not another one because no nurses offered to get me my pain med. So as a former nurse I know you just don't do that. My pain was bad but of course it was me the patient who was at fault. Great job Giselle. Physical therapy is tremendous but I will never come here again and put up with incompetent nursing crap.

Earlier this year, I went back to him after I went to see a local chiropractor last year because my primary suggested I go to see a chiropractor about a balance problem I had. The chiropractor diagnosed the issue but after months I was not seeing any improvement. It turned out the leg length difference was due to a childhood injury to my femur bone. The growth plate in my right leg eventually developed into a 2-inch difference between the length of my legs. Raifu knew exactly how to move my hip so that after a couple of months I actually noticed that my hips were more in alignment. After about 3 months, of his gentle touch and through the exercising of my legs, my legs were even. All of this was accomplished without surgery. My friends and relatives after seeing the difference between the old and new me think he is a miracle worker. He is truly amazing. Now I can walk around standing straight without feeling like I am tipping over and I can walk up and down inclines without fear of falling. When I went back to NJ to see my primary and my specialists - they were so happy with my progress. His office is great and I will recommend him whenever I can, he is truly a gift. Recently, I was able to go back to line dancing which is an activity I really enjoy but could not do. It is now approximately 6 months since I finished therapy. I no longer fear walking up and down hills. If you have a leg shortage or discrepancy, don't let the doctors around here talk about surgery...you can get the issue resolved without it - just go to see Raifu.

Dr Patel's practice is not a medical practice in the traditional sense. It is an industrial…read moredrive-through medical practice where the actual MD/DO doesn't see patients, just the PAs and NPs. The office seems to be busy to the point that you can only call to discuss referrals and records in the early afternoon. When I called about a records issue, the person who answered the phone had a tone that was on the 'short' side. When I complained that it wasn't much of a medical practice when a doctor does not see patients personally, the person who I was speaking with hung up on me. I called back and spoke to someone who was much more pleasant. It's is clear that this is a revenue-generating practice with some unhappy employees that, oddly, has too many patients. This is fundamentally not ok. Advice: Keep looking for a doctor who will actually see you. Dr. Patel won't.
