She was a resource to families for any question, getting answers where she didn't know. + She knows all the local rules and requirements to navigate care for many different life and insurance situations. In our BNI chapter, she leads our weekly meetings as President, and is always pleasant and professional. We all appreciate ending these productive meetings on time, under Cassy's leadership. Cassy's best trait is her big heart. She will go to bat, rage against the machine, and work out the best outcomes for patients at this center.

So for the next 3 months I was coming to NCH twice a week to fix my back. There were many times where I felt it would never get better and I would just deal with it. But NCH trainers kept working with me until I finally felt improvement. My last visit I was pain free. Long road and hope I don't have to go down that road again.

Came here recommended by my naturopath because I never knew that my years of hand/ wrist pain was not normal but finally decided to get it checked it. I wasn't sure what to expect from Hand Therapy Therapist, so I was pleasantly surprised. Danielle is a kind, chill, experienced occupational hand therapist. She has an uncanny skill of finding out which of the small muscles in my hand or wrist muscles are causing me the pain. She then uses manual therapy to address the root issues. Danielle also gives unique exercises that target the hand muscles that I never seen or heard of. Now after two months, I feel 80% better already. I highly recommend her as she is experienced, skilled, knowledgeable, chill and friendly. (part of me is reluctant to write this review because I don't want to have difficulty booking my appointment as she is usually scheduled by one or two week out or two right now) but I hope to help others by writing this review. Btw if you have bad experience with front desk people, rest assured that you won't get that here. Her front desk manager, Sarah, is kind and professional. Sabrina was a student, and Luke definitely took her under his tutelage and it showed with her jumping right in. I've worked with PT Nikki a number of sessions and she was absolutely fantastic. Attentive to my needs and catered the exercises to get me back to good. Debbie and Rachel at the front desk were always very welcoming, and very communicative with me. I was one sick puppy!…read more I spent almost a week in the hospital. Then, three weeks at inpatient rehab. Now at least a month going to outpatient rehab and that's where these fine folks come in. Heads up! - Two reviews (Lee Y & Tito R) are incorrectly posted and belong with the hospital across the street. Process- Before my 1st appointment, they texted me an online registration link. This minimized the paperwork and was much appreciated! Appointments run on time which is delightful! Atmosphere- This is a big place with all the rehab bells and whistles for both PT and OT. Masks are required and they clean equipment a lot! Customer Service- The two service folks that have touched me have been friendly and efficient. For consistency, I requested that I have the same therapist each visit and they happily accommodated me! Therapists- My guy has been awesome. He likes to set objective goals and he clearly explains the "why" of every exercise. In addition to getting better, I'm learning a lot! These folks are part of the Advent Health System which I use quite a bit. They are great choice for outpatient rehab in Highlands County.

I went in for an ultrasound and ended up in the ER. Yes, the staff is worn out in places - they have been in a war. Still, I received all the treatment I needed. The operating room was beyond overbooked. So, I had to wait a day for my surgery. I was kept out of danger with antibiotics. EVERY staff member was a true hero. I know many of them were working after having had COVID and still came back. So, after waiting a day, I was the only one in pre-op. I went almost right in and EXPERT surgeons saved my life. Turned out it was worse than they first thought and the antibiotics had really been needed. After surgery, I was treated for another three days and EVERY test and procedure was done. I have been in this hospital with my family a few years back and it's not the same - it's rougher around the edges. THE WHOLE WORLD is rougher around the edge.

The facility is in average shape but what makes it a great place is its dedicated staff. They were kind and compassionate throughout her stay. The nursing staff in her hall was very attentive and reasonably quick. The PT and OT staff was very encouraging and helped her see that she could improve enough to leave independently. I think that they all provide a very valuable service. One issue is the noise at night. It is very difficult to sleep because the place is noisy at night. Maybe they could put a noise reduction plan in place to help the residents get some rest. It was difficult trying to navigate the processes of coordination between doctors at Pinebrook, doctors at the hospital and other medical services. It would be helpful to have some written procedures for new people entering the facility. The food was ok but the chicken was always overlooked to the point that mom couldn't cut it. Mom sincerely appreciates all the staff for their caring support. Post note: Within three days of moms expected release, she became dehydrated and her blood pressure dropped dangerously. It seemed to be the result of a medication that was making her nauseous. With vomiting and her condition she was high risk for dehydration. The staff didn't communicate across shifts to catch the looming problem and she had to be taken to the ER. While she recovered, I believe that it could have been avoided with better communication and case management. I reduced the rating due to this issue.

Guess what, they just happen to be out of the office whenever you try to contact them. My husband was there for 10 days, so we had a pretty good idea of how the place is run. I forgot to mention the tv remote didn't work, and the faucet in bathroom was both loose and leaking! Honestly, nothing good about the place. Find another place!
