How many doctors and PAs are on staff, how long does it take to get in?

Hi Paul! Two docs, three PA's. Depending on what you need to get in for it could be a walk-in on the same day, or at most a day or two out if you need an appointment. We ONLY do occupational medicine and aviation medicine - no private medicine,…

On the opposite end of the spectrum, I had a tech at 1am who first scolded me for taking the pain meds I was told to take by a previous doctor at the same ER, and then went on to blow out my veins on my left arm, then unsuccessfully poked me for an IV dock on my hand. She took the needle out and reinserted it multiple times before giving up. She told me she was tired and only had a few hours left before her next job started. Personally, I don't think exhausted and overworked techs are a great idea in an emergency medical setting. Doctors seem to run the spectrum - some giving logical explanations for the steps in their care, others taking a more blasé approach. If this is the closest ER to you in an emergency, it's not the worst place. It's clean and they'll give you pain medication. However, follow up care isn't well coordinated and billing is not easy.

The physicians and care we receive here deserve 5 stars. Unfortunately, the incompetence of the…read morebilling department brings it down a lot. We have unfortunately had to use this ER 5 times this past year. Every single time, they take down insurance and all pertinent information. Every single time, we get a letter of expenses where insurance has paid nothing. We call, and usually get the response of "Oh, sorry! We didn't have your insurance information!" They re-run it, and sometimes that's it. Other times, they spell our name wrong or have things coded incorrectly, and we have to follow up several times with rose and our insurance. The most recent time (because we've dealt with this), my husband made sure they had everything correct. And again, we get the same statement that insurance didn't pay, called rose, stated they didn't have our insurance info (this was our 5th time-how were we not in the system by now?!), and re-ran it. We then get a letter two months later stating they haven't heard from our insurance and need our assistance. We call our insurance, and they never got any claim submitted from rose. So my husband sat on hold while our health insurance called rose and tried to sort things out. We have to go through this with rose AND the er physician billing company, as those bills are separated (luckily the physician company never has incorrect info, so it's just a call to give them our insurance info AGAIN). We haven't had ANY issues with billing with UC health or SCL, and it's to where we won't use this ER again, even though the care is great and it's so convenient for minor emergencies/off hour visits. It's just not worth the fight every.single.time. (And the fight isn't even with our insurance!! They pay every time! It's to get rose to properly file the claim). Looks like from a "not recommended" review that this has happened to others as well.

My husband and I both…read moreagreed a detailed review was needed because women need to know how wonderful and safe this Planned Parenthood was. To respect the privacy of those that helped me, I will not name you. But if you see this, I hope you know what wonderful, kind humans you all are and I cannot thank you enough for the warmth you showed both my husband and I during our personal hell. To start, I will say that I am from out of state. My home has archaic laws banning abortions no matter the situation, whether it be life threatening or not. For that, I sincerely hope Karma does her work on the evil men that seek to torture innocent girls and women. About my procedure, it was not wanted nor was it desired. Rather, it was NEEDED. My baby, which I'm aware was a fetus at just 20 weeks, had abnormalities that made it nonviable outside of my womb. There were missing internal body parts that my specialists back home informed me the fetus would not live through the birth and if it did, it would be in agony and perish quickly. I could not do that to my child. The people at this clinic understood and showed me nothing but love and compassion. I was even treated gently. Far more gentle than I believed I deserved. From the ladies taking my insurance info to the intake coordinator to the nurses and doctors, I cannot express enough how much we appreciate what you did for us. Both me and my husband. For anyone seeking a D&E, I want to assure you that you're safe at this location. I would not say so otherwise. I was kept awake during the procedure, the meds they use are strong enough that you honestly won't feel or remember anything. I was terrified I would and relieved to find it was faster and easier than I anticipated. After my procedure, which took two days in two separate appointments, I flew home with medicine prescribed to me. For Anyone reading this that is forced to make the same decision as us, take comfort that you are not alone. I offer this review with the warmest of sympathies and hope that you too will find comfort. Which I believe you will find with the good people here.

The Front Office staff has always been very helpful & friendly - over the phone & in person. The main reason for my visit was for a rotator cuff issue with my primary doctor, Dr. Mark Wisthoff. I checked in ten minutes early & was called back right at appointment time. I saw the Nurse Assistant first who was friendly & personable. After asking some questions, updating my chart & taking my vitals, my wait time for the doctor was only about five minutes. Dr. Wisthoff has always been timely & efficient but most importantly he has a great "bedside manner". He's genuine with a good sense of humor & really takes the time to listen. Note, he responds very quickly to questions in the patient portal as well. I really appreciated Dr. Wisthoff providing me with three options to resolve my problem. It's been a week now & my shoulder pain is almost gone. If you're looking for a new doc I highly recommend Dr. Wisthoff!

Something as simple as a blood draw turns into an hour wait, even when there isn't anyone waiting. One employee faces the physical therapy area so she is oblivious to what is actually going on. Something needs to change at this location, the Doctors are excellent but support staff is weak and abrasive to clients.

Ok get that maybe she's with another patient however I've been trying to reach out to her since 11am it's now going on 315pm office closes at 5 and still not a call back. Front desk doesn't know where she is maybe at lunch if so they don't know when she'll be back multiple messages you don't leave a voicemail stating you got some results and expect me to stay calm till you find a day to return my call. Keep in mind she's the nurse not even the doctor and yet the doctor can't just give me the results nobody can lol worst service I've ever had in my life. Even speaking to the supervisor who just made up so many excuses as to why i couldn't get the help i was looking for has my blood boiling she's lucky i was so uninterested in her words i failed to catch her name she was laughing on the phone while i expressed my frustrations. You have to bare with me this is my first time going through this and to have front desk and supervisors not take me serious? No thank you. I will continue to search a better method of putting in a complaint the way the staff treat their patients is unethical shame on this clinic for having such poor service.
