One memory that stands out was my very first day--it was Veterans Day, and they hosted a beautiful sword cake-cutting ceremony in the break room, led by Mr. Mike Charming (I wish I knew his exact title). After the ceremony, I tried my luck with their fancy dual-cup coffee machine, but it had other plans. Instead of filling my cup, it overflowed into Mike's, creating a little coffee flood on the floor. Without missing a beat, Mike raced for the paper towels, insisting on cleaning the mess himself, even when I tried to help. Embarrassed, I decided I'd wait for my next break to get coffee. But not long after returning to class, there was a knock at the door, and it was Mike, holding two cups of coffee! He'd brought me one complete with sugar and a stirrer. My eyes swelled up. I could cry over how sweet it was. To my surprise, Mike's kindness was not an exception. It seems everyone in the industry carries this natural spirit of hospitality. The two Teresas and two Tonys (4 different people) ensured our training was not only hands-on and educational but also rich with networking opportunities. And as for my instructors, Sasha and Kenny--I could sing their praises all day! Their teamwork, expertise, and ability to make every lesson engaging turned each day into an exciting learning adventure. I absorbed everything so effortlessly because they made it such fun. We received hands-on rescue training in the event of an emergency (ground/water) landing. We experienced how to open a life raft, how to ride in the a rescue bin, extinguish fires, beautiful plating skills, shopping on the "fly" and exposure to new terminology like the Divan, and Amuse Bouche. I highly recommend this training, even if you're not interested in flying. You'll come out more cultured.

Because of him, I'll be booking their helicopter flight for my sister's family when they visit. Here are the details: I received an email the night before my booked flight stating that, due to maintenance, the flight needed to be canceled. I didn't see the email until I got a text on the day of the flight. No problem--Kevin came to the rescue. I quickly called Heliflights and explained to Kevin that I would lose out on using a Groupon because it was set to expire the following Tuesday. In addition, I had trouble receiving an email to reset my password, which I needed in order to reschedule. Within two minutes, Kevin rebooked a flight for me. While explaining the details, he also managed to send me a confirmation email of our agreement (honoring the Groupon after the expiration date) and another email to reset my password. That's problem-solving skills and customer satisfaction all done with efficiency--and without me spending more time on the phone or computer. Thank you again, Kevin, and thank you, Heliflights!

Century Air operates as a highly efficient flight training center that prioritizes its students above all else. My instructor, Raj, has consistently exceeded expectations throughout my training. Despite my hectic schedule, he has frequently come in on his days off to conduct ground lessons or flights, ensuring I remain on track. Raj has always addressed my inquiries with assurance, and his expertise and professionalism have significantly enhanced my skills as a pilot. In addition to being an exceptional instructor, he is a remarkably personable and sincere individual who makes the learning process enjoyable. His dedication to Century Air is evident, as he often goes out of his way to assist other students, support fellow instructors, and contribute to the training center's needs. His commitment to both his students and the success of Century Air is truly remarkable. The staff at Century Air is exceptional. Shannon and Dan at the front desk are consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming. They recognize me by name upon my arrival and always ensure that operations run smoothly. Lead Dispatcher Stephanie has also been outstanding, helping me arrange solo flights despite the busy schedule at Century and accommodating my request to take my written exam on one of the busiest days. Every time I walk into Century she has a giant smile on her face, remembers my name is always asking what she can do to assist me. I have often seen her going above and beyond to mentor and teach the other dispatchers making sure everything is up to the high Century Air Standards. Anytime I needed something she was always there willing to help! Jonah and Mario deserve a great deal of recognition for the hard work they put in every day as part of the ground support team. They are constantly on the move, helping push back aircraft, checking oil, cleaning windshields and windows, and making sure the fleet is ready for students and instructors. Beyond their technical responsibilities, they are extremely personable and always take the time to talk with students during preflight, making everyone feel welcomed at Century Air. Whether they're assisting on the ramp, helping inside the facility, or even cleaning classroom floors to keep the training center looking its best, Jonah and Mario are always working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly. Their dedication, positive attitudes, and extremely strong work ethic do not go unnoticed and are a big part of what makes Century Air such a great place to train. Assistant Chief Instructor Susy has proven to be an invaluable resource throughout my training. She possesses extensive knowledge and is always prepared to assist whenever challenges arise. It is evident that she is not only an excellent instructor but also a remarkable mentor to her colleagues. She exemplifies leadership, willingly shares her expertise, and plays a crucial role in upholding the high standards of instruction for which Century Air is renowned. Richard and Christine Greene have established an outstanding flight training and simulator center. The environment is immaculate, well-organized, and operates with a high level of professionalism--I have never encountered a disorganized classroom. What I value the most is their active engagement with the students. They consistently take the time to converse with us, and when I faced difficulties in scheduling my checkride before my ground exam expired, they personally intervened to ensure everything was resolved. Their aircraft are very clean, well maintained and fly exceptionally! Century Air resembles a professional aviation college more than a facility for learning to fly. I am immensely grateful for the knowledge, support, and experiences they have offered throughout my training. I wholeheartedly recommend Century Air to anyone seeking high-quality flight training.

We arrived late which was our doing since we left a little later than expected. When we got to the front desk, my grandfather backed out sadly, and did not want to go. The employee Georgie there was super sweet and nice, but the owner I'm guessing, Vincent, he had no understanding whatsoever. He was an older gentleman, and when I told him about trying to reschedule or something because of my grandfather he just smirked and told me they can't do anything, and I could come alone if I'd like. Out of human decency, I decided not to fly by myself, and comfort my grandpa which Georgie was kind enough to help me with. To Vincent, it is not about the money, it's about the morals you have as a person. I don't care about your policy, I've had many companies with strict policies help in serious circumstances. You are just a money hungry snob, by how you perceived yourself.
