Avid Movers is as good as it gets. I had to move from the Bradenton, FL area to Santa Rosa Beach, FL 7 hours away. Debbie and her husband Cliff are awesome. They provided all the boxes and more that I needed and when Cliff brought them over to my house a couple weeks before my move, he showed me how to pack/wrap my dishware properly and tape a box properly. I needed more wardrobe boxes while I was packing and I simply texted Debbie and she had Cliff bring them over to me right away, no extra cost at all and super fast. On the day of my move every piece of my furniture was wrapped with cloth and protected, as well as my canvas artwork and TVs. I have moved every year for the last 6 years and Cliff and Dave moved me out of my 2 bed/2 bath house in about 3 hours.. and I have quite a bit of stuff! I can be pretty high maintenance and I have never seen things go so smoothly and done correctly at the same time in all my moves. Highly recommend! read more

We just used Avid Movers for a local move. First of all, my interaction with Debbie on the phone was easy and professional. I called Avid because after an online inquiry with another company, I didn't receive a timely call back. So I was pleasantly surprised when I called and Debbie answered and was able to get me a quote and get us booked for our move right away. Debbie also called to confirm prior to our move. During our move, the guys were thorough and wrapped all furniture with care. We cannot say enough about Cliff, who was amazing. Cliff was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and a great representative of Avid Movers. There was a small incident and both Cliff and Debbie dealt with it quickly and with professionalism. Avid movers cleaned our new house, before we moved in, and then moved us across town into our new house. The house needed a deep cleaning and Avid Movers delivered! The house was spotless, and the windows let in so much more light, when they were done. On moving day, Avid Movers arrived right on time, and the family team worked a very long day to get our move complete. They were diligent and efficient and never "took their foot of the gas." Avid movers moved us from a 2 bedroom condo to a house. When I first contacted Debbie about the move she responded right away. Her estimate were detailed but concise. I cannot nailed down my move date until the last minute, but she could still accommodate my move. They came on time, did the move efficiently and finished the job exactly as the estimates. The move was as smooth as can be. They not only took good care of my belongings they were also careful about not disturbing any public areas in my condo complex. If I searched the globe for a better moving company I wouldn't find one. These men took the time and effort to ensure all of my belongings made it from point A to point B. We're polite and all around amazing. Can't say enough about them. If I were to start a chicken farm and needed my eggs delivered in one piece and quickly, I would hire these guys to make it happen. Just moved from Georgia into a rental house and realized once we arrived, the amount of filth left behind for us to clean. I was completely overwhelmed and in tears. I asked for some estimates on Yelp at 8 am on a Sunday. Debbie responded quickly and was able to be here with her crew by 10 am that day. They worked hard and did an awesome job! Loved using Avid Movers. The movers showed up early wearing masks and worked extremely fast. Everything was wrapped before moving and unwrapped at our new house.
