One day I noticed that my escrow account (the one I have to have for real estate) was closed and is no longer attached to my account on line and on the app. I called the online banking and they told me that because there was no money in it, they closed it. My first issue is that I was not notified. My second issue is how it was handled after that. The person on the phone told me I would need to talk to a branch and connected me to Park Ave. Irina asked me what she can help me with and I specifically asked the first guy to explain so I wouldn't have to. Minor irritation. She told me that she would need to research why the account was closed. I told her I already know why and just need to open a new one and get checks. She told me that I had to come in. I told her that I was too busy and asked her if I can open an account on line, she said yes. She then transferred me to Cal who gave me a hard time and kept telling me to come in. When I asked how to get an account on line, he said he doesn't have the time to sit with me and walk me through the process of setting up an account on line. I said just tell me where to find it. Yes, they do offer mobile banking and bill pay but it's a lot slower and not user friendly. With today's world, everything revolves around debit purchases and is fast paced. It took them two weeks to get our debit cards to us and two weeks to get bill pay working correctly. I will be looking to switch again very soon.
