Barber request online is a hit or miss when you show up. Younger staff are unprofessional, but man do they have talent! I will continue to get my cuts here for the skill! Just need to work on that customer interaction, not everyone likes hearing racial slurs, sexually aggressive comments and complaints against clients. As a person of color, I trust you guys with my hair. You guys have to work on that interaction though! Thank you! That was my first time getting a haircut in Fort Collins and I am absolutely satisfied with the result. I got my haircut with Defne. She was really nice and professional. I didn't know what I wanted so I got a regular haircut and I wasn't satisfied with that so I asked her would it be ok if I wanted to change it to "Fade". She was explaining me patiently. She was really nice, helpful and sweet. It took her like an hour and 20 mins to cut but she did a really great job. I'll come back for sure next time. read more

I had an appointment at 6:30. I received a confirmation e-mail and was excited to get my first haircut since covid. I showed up about 10 minutes early and the place was closed. Ok maybe they are out and will be coming back for my appointment. I stayed until 10 minutes after my appointment time and just left. Their sign said they don't close until 7 so I don't understand why they weren't open for my appointment. I even tried calling and the voicemail box was not set up. I really had high hopes for going here. I've heard amazing things about Gus. Anyways we showed up at around 12 on a weekday. Dudes be chilling waiting to take their lunches and that's cool. They were kinda giving each other like the signal no you take it. So the gentleman was took us I won't describe him. I'm sitting there explaining, he didn't want a haircut so if u can go easy and show him is this too much or this? The guy didn't even seem like he was listening as he had his earbuds in. Kinda rude and price was thirty and he charged 35. Why you tell me 30$ then go up? He left with a chopped ass side loped fade. Needless to say my son left in tears. I left a 10$ tip cause that's how I am but. C'mon guys I know your better then that!!!!! I will be taking him back to Great Clips to Lisa who is a compassionate human who listens to what he wants! I've been coming for about 2 years now and when I first came I was very impressed by the atmosphere and employees but the past 4 times I've gone in hasn't been the same they aren't accurate with the haircuts you ask they push the sides up till you have a mohawk to fix there mistakes. I've been going to Avila's for the past year and a half. Usually get a pretty good haircut (my hair is not very cooperative), steadily getting better and better. After the stay-at-home period, they are requesting come in by appointment - OK, I went by appointment a month ago, and then again today. When I arrive (5 minutes early), I am told my barber is still finishing up a customer, and will be done in 10-15 minutes. OK, fine, I sit outside and wait. While I'm waiting, it appears that two gentlemen come in without appointments. The website says 30 minute time slots - after 25 minutes, I can see the barber that I asked for, and he's still cutting hair. Clearly, he took in a customer a little before I got there. Evidently, my time is not important to them, so I left, and will not return. No respect for their customers! read more

I have gone to this barbershop before and gotten a good haircut but they are not consistent. I walked in around the time of my appointment and greeted the employees by saying hello, my name, and my appointment time. They all looked at each other like they didn't know what to do. I was open to conversation but there was very little talking. My barber's name was Armando, he did not greet me or make eye contact. He just waited for me to sit in the chair and ask what I wanted. All I got was an "okay", no questions to build off what I was saying or anything. I asked for a 1/4 of an inch off the top, not a lot. Armando proceeded to cut an inch off the top of my hair in some spots. I even had to stop him halfway through the haircut. I told him this is not what I wanted and he told me "I barely cut the tips". I don't know what this guy believes a 1/4 of an inch to be but apparently, he exaggerates his measurements. After hearing I was unsatisfied they did not offer to fix it or a free haircut. He just walked me over to the counter and charged me for the full price. read more

EXCITED!!!! I have taken my son literally everywhere for a quality fade and every time we leave we are both disappointed. I decided that we'd give this place a whirl and let me tell you, there was not one barber that I could see that didn't have extreme talent. The place only takes walk ins, but that great everyone kindly and they treated each person in their chair as though they were the only person in the shop and this place was BUSY! Their technique was amazing, prices can't be beat, customer service excellent, atmosphere is sporty and comfortable as well as very clean. I took several cards and will be telling everyone including my clients to go! It was so nice to walk out of a place and have my son satisfied with his fade. I can't wait to go back.
