During my recent visit, I was hopeful that friendly and deliberate descriptions would get me the haircut I was looking for. It wasn't until after I got home that I noticed how uneven the length was across the front, how much more hair than I requested had been cut off, and what other requests I made had been ignored. I've received 5x better hair cuts from Great Clips for half the price. After moving to Fort Collins last August (2018), and giving up on growing out my hair, I decided to finally get it cut. Buddy of mine gets his hair cuts here and always seems pleased; but that was not the experience for me. I think it may have been Tom cutting my hair. Extremely friendly man. Really makes you feel welcomed. But a word of advice, Tom: you probably shouldn't talk about how you're really starting to feel the arthritis in your hands at old age; and how you just can't grip a comb the way you used to; all while cutting a person's hair. My hair can be difficult with a few different cowlicks in spots and the curl at longer lengths, but from the get-go, Tom seemed clueless about common hair style terms. In addition, he wasn't very thorough with the clippers. Came home noticing long hairs untouched all over the sides and back of my head where the clippers were used. Hot shave on the neck was great, except it was terribly crooked. And as most have said, he took off way more from the top than I would have desired. Even showed a picture, and said, "longer than that," but the length came out the same or shorter. Long story short, I enjoyed my time in the shop, felt that I was receiving a good cut, but came home and started noticing all of these flaws. Honestly would not recommend going here, unless you are in need of a really simple cut. Tom couldn't even handle a scissor cut, side part with tight sides.
