I have been to Toni's a handful of times and gotten good enough cuts to go back again. At the visit prior to my most recent one, I was friendly and clear about a couple simple details that I wanted. I left dissatisfied and incorrectly assumed that after washing my hair some of what I didn't like would improve, but it didn't. During my recent visit, I was hopeful that friendly and deliberate descriptions would get me the haircut I was looking for. It wasn't until after I got home that I noticed how uneven the length was across the front, how much more hair than I requested had been cut off, and what other requests I made had been ignored. I would rather be writing a glowing nostalgic review like some of the others I see here. Took a chance and visited Toni's today. I was super impressed! Small shop with two old school barbershop chairs. I didn't have cash on me but Toni said she would cut my hair and I could come back and pay. They set my 4 year old up with playdough and a little desk to keep him occupied while I got my cut. Toni's is a no-frills barber shop located across from the max stop in the same business center as FedEx off Mason. Since she does cuts on a walk-in basis, the wait time will vary, I'm sure. I brought my son in for a trim and waited about 20 minutes while Toni took care of another client. Toni is friendly and very personable and charges very reasonable prices. Bring cash for payment. I'm still not super happy with the way his hair turned out but it's been butchered several times lately and I don't know what else to tell barbers except "don't let him leave with his hair looking worse than it did when we walked in." I've been getting my haircuts from Toni for a long time, since before she opened her own shop (about five years). I've tried out several different barbershops in Fort Collins, but have always been satisfied with the haircuts I get at Toni's shop and with the friendly atmosphere they provide.
