His crew were all professional and hard working individuals. The job took 1.5 days to finish and Shane was on site working the whole time. It's not often you see the owner of a company out doing the hard work along side his employees. They finished the job and left my yard in a better, cleaner condition than before they arrived. Everything was done exactly as they said and I could have mowed my grass they cleaned the yard up so well. When I was looking for a company to remove my trees I wanted to make sure I got someone with a good reputation and would do what they said. Jones Outdoor Service has been in business for 30+ years. The estimate appointment had to be rescheduled several times, with us checking in on them to see where they were as often as them calling to tell us they'd have to reschedule. That should have been a red flag. They finally came out and took a bunch of notes and measurements, and then went radio silent. We waited nearly a week for our estimate, and then called for a status. We received an excuse, and a promise that our quote would be ready in a day or two. Two days passed, so we called on the third day and got another version of the previous story. Lather, rinse, repeat. After their third failure to deliver we stopped calling, and we never heard from them again. In a way, we wonder if we were lucky. If this is how they handle relations with a prospective customer, how would things have gone during the project? And what if something in the project itself went wrong? It's a strange way to do business, that's for sure. (And I'm not sure why, but it appears they have two listings on Yelp. Hmmm... why?)
