Something shady about all of this with this place. Only a few months left on our lease. And yes....if they find out you are talking bad about them, you are on the "hit" list and are a target from that point on. I don't care though because I am outta here soon. The maintenance staff has gone above and beyond and are quite responsive. I just wish they would get rid of the WhiteSky internet service. It's always going down, sometimes for days. I count at least 200 hours of downtime in the last 9 months. No refunds. There is no opting out either as it is part of the lease, part of rent. If you get another service you will still pay $65/month for WhiteSky. We can't even use the pool when the internet is down. That's because the emergency phone requires internet. I honestly don't know why River Junction doesn't get out of their contract with WhiteSky and let tenants get there own service. The whole office shuts down when WhiteSky internet is down, and that is often. This is true even when neighbors not in the complex have no internet issues at all. It's entirely just WhiteSky that is down.

What a poorly managed company Goodwin is !!!! They'll take our HOA dues money in a second, and raise it without warning, but have no one readily available for sub-divisional emergencies !!! Then my electric breaker box kept tripping every time I turned on the microwave or stove. Ray who is one of the maintenance workers here said an electrician came to look at it and said it was fine BUT IT STILL TRIPS WHEN I USE THE MICROWAVE OR STOVE SO THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING! Ray even told me I needed a new breaker box! Then my refrigerator went out & ruined over $200 of food & water was everywhere! Ray brought me another refrigerator AND THIS IS THE ONLY WORK ORDER THAT HAS BEEN REPAIRED & COMPLETED! The lights in the ceiling KEEP FALLING OUT! My kitchen sink doesn't drain well & you have to turn the garbage disposal on to drain the sink! My bathtub is streaked with bleach that the prior housekeeper cleaned with. Vanessa (Mgr) told me over 7 WEEKS THIS WOULD BE REPAIRED AND IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED! When the plumber came in to try & fix my toilet he scratched up some of my walls AND IT HAS BEEN OVER 3 MONTHS THAT I REQUESTED PAINT TO PAINT OVER THIS! NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE! When Ray the maintenance worker brought the other refrigerator he scratched & dented my front door and tore the weather stripping at the base of the door. Ray said he would repair this within a few days - IT HAS BEEN 4 WEEKS AND NOTHING! The fire alarm for the entire complex goes off sporadically & the Georgetown Fire Department has been called out over 12 TIMES FOR NOTHING! THE FD IS FURIOUS WITH RISE 120 BECAUSE THEY HAVE STILL NOT FIXED THE PROBLEM! Tenants are woken up IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT & HAVE TO EVACUATE FOR NOTHING! After lots of touring and shopping around for my first apartment I decided to go with citizen house at wolf ranch. The place is gorgeous! Everything is all brand new and very well thought out. I have been living here for a couple months now and I love it. I am so happy I remembered Mrs. Dani's kindness and personableness from a year ago and chose to revisit this place. They have move in specials that match no other place in town. Dani will get you fixed up and they make it SUPER easy for you. Dani was very friendly, kind, and professional. She got things done. I am very happy with my decision. You'd be crazy not to move to citizen house at wolf ranch too. Also everyone living here seems very friendly as well.

The apartment complex was built cheaply and they claim to be "luxury" but any close look around will prove otherwise. There was a couple months of crickets and scorpions falling out of the air conditioning vents (I sent pictures of where they were going into the walls from outside and it was weeks before anyone filled the holes.) I was electrocuted by bad wiring in my AC unit. Dog poop EVERYWHERE! There was no initial walk through when I moved in but my brand new unit had muddy footprints on the carpets and was missing cabinet hardware, there was paint spots on the floor. Fast forward to my move out... I received an invoice over a month after moving out that had so many charges and credits it was impossible to understand. They turned a cut and pasted together document into collections which doesn't even seem legal. My advice: STAY AWAY. This place is overpriced and they deal in bad business practices. There are much nicer and cheaper places available!
