This apartment complex is amazing! Bexley is definitely one of the nicest apartments in Round Rock in terms of amenities, cleanliness, and kindness of the staff! I've lived here for 3 months, and I absolutely love it. The apartment itself is spacious, quiet, and has great natural lighting. I don't spend too much time at the apartment, because I enjoy the clubhouse. The clubhouse consists of an amazing resort-style pool, an espresso/coffee machine, yard games (i.e. ping pong, corn hole, spike ball, etc.), and a great office space with a conference room available for use! It is always a bright place to be with kind residents and a caring staff. The gym is also one of the most spacious and clean apartment gyms I've been in. There is nearly every necessary piece of equipment (all in good shape). The location is also nice as it is close to I35 and AW Grimes, which allows for easy and quick routes to & from Austin-Round Rock. Additionally, there is an HEB close by with several various restaurants and Round Rock outlets right around the corner! This location allows for close commercial areas, but also secluded enough that the complex is quiet and peaceful. For anyone who is looking to live in the Round Rock area, I highly recommend looking at this property! read more

After living here for TWO YEARS, I can confidently say this is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. I would urge anyone considering Bexley Round Rock to LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE. The nightmare started the DAY I MOVED IN. The first time I walked into my supposedly "move-in ready" apartment, the AC was broken and the unit was 92 DEGREES... in JULY, in TEXAS. Maintenance repeatedly "fixed" it, only for it to break again within 24 hours. I spent HUNDREDS on portable AC units just to safely stay in my apartment. Their solution? Stay in a hotel at my own expense. Maintenance has been atrocious ever since. I routinely waited a week or more for repairs, and MULTIPLE requests were marked "completed" when nobody had even come. My dishwasher was broken for over a month more than once, my water dispenser essentially never worked, my patio door was left with a hole I had to TAPE SHUT while waiting weeks for repair, and my garage didn't work properly for over a month. I have literally watched maintenance employees detailing their cars during work hours while residents had outstanding repairs. The paid "amenities" are a joke. Gates frequently don't work, valet trash doesn't consistently get picked up, and the property has had serious pest problems. There were MASSIVE hornet nests throughout the complex, including on both sides of my balcony and even hornets INSIDE THE GYM. When I complained, they left a can of bug spray outside my door. Then there were RATS. Rats got into the garage I PAY FOR and caused THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in damage to my car by chewing through wiring. Management is somehow even worse. For TWO YEARS I couldn't properly access my mailbox because the key THEY GAVE ME didn't correspond to my assigned mailbox. Their solution was telling me to contact USPS. Never resolved. Getting anyone in the office to respond is nearly impossible. Emails and voicemails go unanswered, and I have had to call 8-12 times repeatedly just to get someone on the phone. But the absolute final straw has been my move-out. My lease ended in late August. I submitted my required 60-day notice IN MAY through the dedicated online form in THEIR resident portal. They now claim they never received it. First management told me they didn't have an online notice form. Then they admitted they DO have one but claimed they don't accept notices through it. Then the story changed AGAIN: they DO have the form, they DO accept notices through it, but supposedly mine was never received. Their "resolution"? I have to pay for an ADDITIONAL TWO MONTHS at nearly $2,600/month. And here's the kicker: MANAGEMENT HAS ACKNOWLEDGED TO ME THAT THEIR SYSTEM HAS ISSUES. This isn't even my first experience with their system malfunctioning. When I moved in, I had issues submitting required documentation through their portal, emailed management explaining the problem, and was GHOSTED. Now their system allegedly failed again, except this time I'm expected to pay THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS for it. I escalated the situation to the regional manager and was ghosted there too. That perfectly summarizes Bexley Round Rock: things break, maintenance doesn't fix them, management doesn't respond, amenities you pay for don't work, and when THEIR system fails, YOU GET THE BILL. Between portable AC units, thousands in rat damage to my vehicle, countless unresolved issues, and now thousands more because they claim their portal didn't record my notice, I cannot believe how much money this place has cost me. This is not luxury living. Charging luxury prices does not make a property luxurious. If you choose to live here, SCREENSHOT EVERYTHING. SAVE EVERY EMAIL. DOCUMENT EVERY REQUEST. Unfortunately, my experience with Westing Properties has been extremely disappointing and stressful. Their handling of a serious water damage situation in my apartment showed a clear lack of communication, accountability, and urgency. After a sprinkler broke and caused significant water intrusion, I immediately reported the issue. Instead of properly addressing the situation, I received conflicting information from different staff members. At one point, I was told demolition would be done, but when maintenance arrived, they said the wall only needed to "dry a little" and be repainted -- completely minimizing the severity of the issue. Later that same evening, the water began coming in even worse. It entered through the window frame, ran through the wall, and pooled on the vinyl flooring inside my apartment. This clearly showed that the problem had not been properly assessed or resolved. Despite repeatedly communicating my concerns, it felt like what I was saying was ignored, and the lack of action only made the damage worse. The overall response was unprofessional and poorly managed. There was no clear plan, no urgency, and no accountability. As a tenant, it's extremely frustrating and disappointing to feel unheard while dealing with a situation that affects health, safety, and personal property. 1 Star - Fire Damage, Conflict of Interest, and Active Failure to Escalate My wife and I were residents at Bexley Round Rock, managed by Weinstein Properties, and the way this property handled a serious fire-related incident has been extremely disappointing. On January 1, a fire broke out in the garage beneath our apartment, allowing smoke and soot to enter our unit and rendering it uninhabitable at the very beginning of the month. Management acknowledged this and allowed us to terminate our lease. We vacated the unit and returned our keys promptly. Despite the unit being unsafe to occupy, we have been refused a refund for January rent. Because the apartment was not safe to return to, we were forced to pay for a hotel out of our own pocket. We were told that air purifiers would be provided as early as Monday, yet seven days after that promised date, no air purifiers were ever delivered, and no one entered the apartment to perform remediation. In addition, the apartment door was busted down during the incident and was never repaired. At the time we vacated, the door could be opened with a simple push, creating a serious safety and security issue that further rendered the unit unlivable. We also encountered a serious conflict of interest and apparent effort to prevent escalation. The on-site property manager, Chass Reel-Mehl, refused to escalate our concerns to higher management. When we specifically asked for his supervisor's information, he acted as though he did not know his boss's last name, despite the supervisor being Joe Reel-Mehl, his husband. This behavior strongly suggests an intentional attempt to block impartial review of our situation. We have documentation showing unhealthy smoke and soot residue in the apartment, veterinary records confirming our cats required medical treatment due to smoke exposure, and we are uploading photos taken after the incident that clearly show the conditions left behind. These images make it clear the unit was not livable. We hoped for accountability, transparency, and basic habitability standards following a situation entirely outside of our control. Instead, we were met with delays, broken promises, refusal to escalate, and denial of fair compensation. We are sharing this experience so future residents understand how serious safety issues are handled at this property. read more

There's a hole in the kitchen cabinets at the bottom that does not go into any of the openings that my cat crawls into and there's no way to get her. They violated the Texas Property Code by withholding my deposit and adding additional charges upon the lease expiration. To this day, Bexley has made zero attempts to pay what is owed by law. The short version: The walls are thin, there is no parking in the evening, management could careless about noise complaints or pouring leaks(you have to call the city inspector for them to fix this). They'll try to put any bogus fees on your account at move out like saying we had pets yet we're allergic to cats & dogs! Detailed: At move out we expected little fees as we left the unit in better condition than when we moved in. I was shocked to see that they charged us for 'pet urine stains' carpet replacement & slab treatment. We're both allergic to pets so therefore we can't have pets! So it was a lie. The charge was partially removed after providing our medical records/allergy list. They claim the pictures below are the same spot yet it's very obvious it's not. They never provided pictures of the apartment at move in to back up their claim that this stain was our fault. Talking to anyone at corporate is impossible, the district manager fields calls to the property manager who does nothing and therefore nothing is resolved. There is no escalation. The walls are thin, yes you can hear your neighbors giggling it's apartment living. However management does not act on bass boosted music complaints during quiet hours as per a conversation it's ok as long as the walls aren't shaking. I reported/documented a leak for months, it had absolutely nothing to do with the various freezes. Management kept saying they'd get around to it since November twenty twenty one, it was not addressed until I contacted the city inspector in March twenty twenty two. The leak was due to improper drilling when the building was constructed. Attached is a video. The parking situation here is ridiculous, parking away from your building, outside of the gate by the office are common occurrences only solved by paying for a car port or garage. Do not move here!!! They are crooks who make up false charges. They lie lie lie!!!!!! I only live in my apartment the Harris for six months and it was six months of hell and embarrassment. They want to be luxury but they are not. The tenants let their animals poop in the elevator and anywhere and do not pick it up. I lived in bldg 4 fourth floor and the elevators were out for the entire weekend plus Monday. So imagine having to carry groceries and other items up 4 flights. They are about nothing but money I was late twice on my rent the 3rd I had and eviction notice by the sixth the constable was knowing my door down trying to serve me court papers. But that's not all my rent and late fees where already paid in office they misplaced my money order and embarrassed me they put a notice on my door taped it open so everyone who walked by could read it. It was done intentionally. They kept my deposit even after I cleaned the apartment. They charged me a ridiculous fee. They said I owed them 30 for a stain on the caulk of the tub and 30 dollars for the labor. Common. Then there was a cabinet door that was missing a bolt that I did not do. They charged me for a new cabinet. I mean that's just sad after all that was like that before I came. Go elsewhere it's not worth it. The walls are thin. The foundation is buckling. Honestly Patrick is the only one there with any sense. He's been amazing. The rest never answer the phone or call you back but send you emails as if they are scared to do their jobs. I've lived here a year and made the mistake of signing a new lease for even more money when the quality of these apartments have really gone down. I left my old apt here and transferred because the walls are so thin you can hear everything your neighbor does including stomping around,the dog running around at 4/5 in the morning and loud noises. Thinking I was going to get a nice clean new apt I came to ants,damage,a broken door and someone could sleep under my carpet if you just simply lift it up lol and still no one has fixed it after a month being in the "new place" already looking to find a house so that I can break this lease. I just called emergency because its 83 Degress in my apartment and the a/c is not working. My dogs are panting and they said quote-on-quote the weather says its not over 80 degrees so its going to have to be dealt with during business hours. So apparently my dogs have to suffer which means I have to pour water on them all night or check in them constantly to make sure there not dehydrated, which will cause me to either be late to work or not go in just to make sure my dogs are ok. They are not dog friendly because if so they would take this as an emergency knowing dogs take heat way worse than humans do!!! This place is complete garbage and has been declining ever since I've lived here. If you don't think dogs are important, your not worth the place to live in. I've called emergency 2 times for them to hang up on me... I wouldn't recommend this place if you have pets. I had given them a good review when I first moved in not knowing what I was up against.. EV Car Owners Beware! This apartment claims they have electric car charging stations but the sad reality is its never accessible, since the space is always occupied by gas cars. I moved into this apartment even though they were expensive compared to the nearby apartments, just to access the charging stations so that I can charge my car overnight. Before I signed the lease I even verified with their leasing office if the chargers are accessible. I was told they are and I rented a unit right in front of a charging station. But once I moved in I realized that the parking spot in front of the charging stations are always occupied by gas cars in the evenings. There is no way to call the leasing office after 6PM to report this. To address this situation, right from day one I have been complaining to the leasing office to put a sign board in front of the charging station to reserve the spot of cars that need to charge. Its been months since I have been requesting this and every time I get the same response that they are waiting to get a final go ahead to do this. Other EV owners here have similar stories. After months of complaining they finally sent an email to the community saying the charging spots are for cars that need to charge, but without a sign board people are still parking their gas cars in these spots. While hunting for an apartment I came across the Bexley Apartments in Round Rock. Firstly the leasing agent, Brandi was both informative and listen to our needs and answered all of the questions we raised. Additional Brandi shared the true cost of the lease (car garage, dog, trash etc) a lot of the other apartment leasing centers tend to tell you only when you ask, it's never volunteered. As to the apartments themselves, yes they are a bit pricey, but thats the Austin area market driving the price, BUT the apartments are top quality, they have a light and airy feel including the corridors. read more

This seems like a common issue with Bexley, we should have really took into consideration an earlier review that was left by Emily on Google, We drove over 2 hours each way with our newborn to tour this Bexley location and toured the complex with Ellie, we found an apartment but we couldn't tour that specific apartment because there was a resident living there at the time. The apartment was available for a later date than we were originally looking for but we decided to put in an application in order to secure it due to the fact that we had a newborn and needed to make sure we had a place to live. We were going to wait to apply when we returned home, but Lauren the Manager suggested it would be best if we filled out the application there in order to immediately secure the apartment and not risk the chance of losing it to another applicant. We applied right there and then and paid our application fees and their system went ahead and ran our credit. Keep in mind this was well over 2 months before the date we would initially move in. A couple of days went by and our application was approved, so we paid the security deposit. Ellie then sent us the lease agreement, we signed the lease and sent it back the same day. We then received a following email from Ellie with an invoice which included all move-in fees. Due to the fact that we were still over 2 months from the scheduled move-in date we decided to hold off on paying the invoice until we received our finalized copy of the lease agreement. They took forever to sign their part of the lease and send us a finalized lease agreement, even after we contacted both Ellie and Lauren. Forty days after we signed our portion of the lease Lauren finally sent us the finalized lease agreement. Fast forward to 4 days before we are supposed to move in, Ellie called to inform us that the apartment will not be available for our scheduled move in date because the resident that was living in the apartment decided to extend there stay. They stated it was unknown when the apartment would even be ready for move-in as they could not get a hold of the resident in order to get the key to the apartment. We discussed options and decided to cancel our lease to which they agreed, they refunded the application fees and security deposit. We were left with our entire apartment packed into a moving truck, a 15 point negative hit on both of our credit scores, and the stress of now being left with having to find a place to live with a newborn and two dogs on basically no notice at all for which we could never be reimbursed. read more

The units are nice enough but the parking is horrendous, they are more expensive , and the property management team is going to charge you for new carpet when you move out period. I was thrilled to see that another Yelp review not only stated the exact same thing happening to them ( replaced my carpet for pet urine and i don't own pets and never had one over ) and then proceeded to tell me they always peel back the carpet when you move out to check for damage ( i call BS !) My husband and I rented at Bexley for temporary housing until our new home is built and we couldn't be happier. The staff is wonderful and quick to respond to any questions or requests we have. The grounds are always kept clean. Even after the major freeze, the landscaping crew was out right away to remove any dead plants and greenery. The health club and pool are wonderful and kept very clean. There is a nice pet park where your pets can run off leash. The location is perfect with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We love our apartment and it is very quiet. We would recommend Bexley to anyone who wants to live in the Round Rock area. read more
