Wasn't happy with the way the way the check in process went... was a hot mess. Came in for annual…read moreand one female I didn't catch her name but was sitting on the far right aisle and wasn't very friendly more of a rush into doing things instead of doing it right... called my insurance got my insurance information. Of course it was under a different name then proceeds to have me put my Social Security number down and then as I'm waiting, I overhear somebody saying why is the Social Security card just laying around with I'm assuming my number on it was assuming she might've tore it up and threw it away... after done with my appointment I was told that I needed to wait for a lab I had been waiting. I believe 15 to 20 minute range well which is totally understandable, but I never got a heads up or anything. I ended up having to leave because I had another appointment I had to go to.... I came back. I did a sample for them and as I'm walking out one of the medical assistance comes up to me and says that she needs a different culture from me okay... well why wasn't any of this said to me or the front desk... everything just seems scattered and disorganized and very unprofessional. But Stacy, the doctor was phenomenal.. I just don't think I will be going to this location anymore due to the unprofessionalism and lack of confidential information.. as long as she's at the Westerville location I will be going back there. Front desk staff needs help in their area for sure..

My insurance clearly covers birth control as preventive care, including office visits. However, Avina billed for an office visit incorrectly. When I requested that they correct the codes and resubmit to insurance, they took two weeks to respond only to inform me that they would not resubmit. During that conversation, they unjustly claimed that I don't understand insurance, my plan, or how office visits work. I had my insurance on the line recording this discussion. I will be escalating this matter further.

They are not nearly as caring and friendly as the first contact of an office should be. Also, the late policy is ridiculous considering the fact that my doctor keeps me waiting close to an hour each time I go for an appointment. If they are going to hold patients accountable to their ridiculous policies, the doctors themselves need to be more punctual as well. That being said, when she is available, I do get excellent care from my physician. I've gone back and forth on whether or not to find a new doctor for these reasons.

It must be a terrible place to work or they just attract a lot of employees that happen to have terrible personalities.
