So I have a funny story. I was looking for this building yesterday morning and I happened to be driving around maybe 4 or 5 times. Going in and out of every doctor's office because the buildings looked all the same. I finally realize after entering the Orthopedic One building I'm clearly not in the right building and need to focus on the building number a little harder. I get there after walking around a bit in and out of ever doctors office. I apologize for not finding the building but do get there on time. I have about a 5 minute wait after submitting my paperwork. The nurse checks my vitals and tells me I'm fine. She walks me over to the doctors office. I wait about 5-10 minutes for Carrie Soder. First of all, I would like to say how nice she was upon meeting her for the first time. She really got to know me and my whole family background. I appreciated all the advice she gave me because it was very helpful. Obviously she has a lot of experience as a OBGYN. I would highly recommend her if anyone is looking for one at the moment. I was overall very pleased with my first visit here. I would highly recommend Professionals for Women's Health they are all OhioHealth doctors. Plus they have three locations Dublin, Westerville, and Columbus offices for you to choose from, so it's very convenient. read more

I delivered through Professionals for Women's Health and really really wish I had a better experience. Now, I will say that I really wanted an unmedicated birth and was more opinionated about my birth experience than many - but that is also why I think it's important to share this experience and why I would NOT recommend them for someone who is looking for an empowered birth experience. They have midwives on staff and some are amazing, but others are not. You see different midwives and doctors for different appointments, which led to inconsistent care in my opinion. There were several times where I received conflicting recommendations based on who I saw. While you can request to see certain midwives for appointments (I found one I loved and requested her each time) you cannot choose who comes to your delivery. The only reason I am giving them two stars is because of the one midwife who genuinely advocated for me (she made it possible for me to have a doula during the pandemic, something that I will always be grateful to her for)- but I still had an (in my opinion, unnecessarily) dramatic delivery experience. I was late and at 41 weeks had an ultrasound with Dr Kevin Hackett. He immediately pushed me towards an induction and was extremely condescending towards any questions I asked about the decision (which was a huge adjustment from my birth preferences). He seemed genuinely offended that I didn't blindly follow all of his recommendations and honestly made me feel like a bad mom. He made several comments against the midwives I had seen previously and it left me feeling conflicted and defeated. At one point he said he couldn't believe I would "back myself in a corner" looking for an unmedicated birth. I was very okay being induced, if medically necessary. My issue was the condescending tone and how it was not a conversation - it was a demand. It is everything that an empowered birth experience is NOT. My hope is that sharing this alone will give one pregnant woman a more empowered experience by steering her from Dr Hackett. After being induced, I had a long labor and unfortunately reached 10 cm at shift change. I'm not totally sure what happened, but what I do know is that I was ready to push and had to wait over an hour for the new midwife to arrive at the hospital. Once we were delivering, the midwife seemed incredibly distracted, chatting with everyone else around her and went so far to mess up my stitches and have to redo them, which I genuinely think was because she was chatting with everyone else around her (about things other than my delivery). Thank goodness I had a doula with me because she gave me 10x more information about postpartum care than any one at professionals did. There is a lot going on behind the scenes, but my experiences led me to think many decisions were made for me based on what is convenient for them.   If you are having a baby and are looking for an empowered and/or unmedicated birth - I would NOT recommend Professionals. There are some great midwives at the practice for sure, and it makes me sad to write this review because I really like and admire them, but because of their setup you have no guarantee of who you will get nor of your experience. My hope is to share my experience to help clarify how they work and help one woman have the experience she is looking for! read more

I have been a patient of Ann Marie's for many years and think highly of her, more of a friend than a doctor. I have recommended her to my daughters and granddaughters. Yesterday I had a mammogram with technician Cathie. She was excellent and was pleased with the new machine. Very comfortable. I loved the new look of the room. From the paint choice to the pictures and decor, looked more spa like than a doctor's office. Very nice! read more

I have been going to PWH for almost ten years. They are always kind, clean, and accommodating. They have been with me from college, helped me prepare for my first child, and will be the attending physicians for me C-section. I've never had a bad experience here, and I've been seen by roughly 10+ CNMs and OBs. Highly recommend. read more

Was not happy with this place. Didn't update me about temporary policy changes, changed my appointment without my permission. One of the midwifes basically told me not to deliver at a certain hospital. Not happy. If you want to meet the midwifes you have to ask when scheduling your appt otherwise you'll see a nurse practitioner. read more

Privacy issues are a concern with office staff in Jasonway. I overheard the secretary talking about another patient as she left very loudly to another employee. She spoke about how the patient leaving is trying to get pregnant & gave her name. I notified Dr Soder of the issue & the secretary still worked there years later. This same secretary yelled to me as I was leaving one day, asking me for my last name. It didn't make sense since I had already signed in & been seen. The nurses at Dublin either reek of smoke or act like complete robots. No care or emotion at all during questioning, weight, or blood pressure. The nurse at Westerville couldn't do a simple blood draw. Blood was going all down my arm while she still had the needle part way in me. My husband had to get the gauze to clean up the bloody mess on me before she even removed the needle. I was pregnant at the time & she's really lucky I was in a good mood. Also, one doctor was dismissive of a blood clot I was apparently passing. I was very worried & pregnant with twins. It was a lot of blood. Another doctor at the practice was dismissive of my birth plan. She flat out told me I was wrong with what I wanted. For example, I didn't want any hospital residents working on me & she said I would be glad they were there. When I delivered Dr Soder had a resident finish up on me & she left early. The hospital makes you sign papers right before you have the baby & I had concerns about it & was given no opportunity to discuss them with anyone before the c section. The practice does not keep accurate records. They have my c section date listed wrong. Recently, the last straw made me feel extremely violated. Dr Soder performed what I thought was a pap smear & I waited over a month for my results. When I contacted them about it, they said I did not have a pap although the appt was titled 'annual' & it consisted of all the motions of a pap smear. When I wrote about my concerns, Dr Soder wrote, "...there was no screw up and no one is trying to "cover their tracks"." I will be finding a new gynecologist who checks what they're supposed to check & tells me what they're doing & why. read more

I've been coming here for 2 years and wanted to write a review because this is the most efficient doctor's office I have ever been to! I can't speak for the other locations but I absolutely love this office. After checking in, I have never waited more than 5 minutes to be taken back or for more than 5 minutes to be seen by the doctor. Everyone is super nice, efficient, informative, knowledgeable, prompt, etc! Love this practice! read more

I've never been so frustrated with a doctors office before in my life. I came her for prenatal care because I had been seeing them for regular women's health care and then became pregnant. At my first appointment they didn't even confirm that I was pregnant and told me if I had taken a over the counter test that was good enough for them. They have you see everyone in the office so no one ever gets to know you or vice versa. So every time you have an appointment you have to explain everything to them all over again. Nothing ever seems to be recorded in your medical chart or if is they don't take the time to review it because as I mentioned you have to explain who you are how far along you are etc every time. Their communication between staff is nonexistent because I've called or messaged them about a question or concern thinking even if I can't talk to the same person they should be able to help me based on notes the last person who saw me left, and then I end up having to explain everything all over again to someone new. This is my first pregnancy and I feel like I've been left in the dark about so many things, they haven't explained when I would have significant appointments like an ultrasound or a glucose test. Then they told me they wanted me to have level 2 ultrasound done but didn't tell me where or when they just said someone would call me about it. I canceled the appointment because someone called me and told me that my appointment would be on a Tuesday in the middle of the afternoon when I have Mondays off, but I had no way of getting ahold of them to reschedule, so I made an appointment for a regular ultrasound at 20 weeks at the office, instead of explaining to me that they couldn't do one if I was having the level 2 one done elsewhere they just let me show up and tell me they can't do it. I've had migraines really bad this pregnancy and they basically shrug their shoulders and tell me they can't do anything else for me. Finally last Monday they suggested a prescription and said they would call it in, 3 headaches and a week later they still haven't called the prescription in. Seriously if you're looking for women's or prenatal care go find someone who can be professional, get to know you, and actually cares. read more
