I went here on friday after new years, hoping to take a train ride just because I had the day off…read more First of all, there are no signs from the highway to get to the station, so I had to rely on my GPS to get to the location, and finally saw a sign on 17-92. Once I pulled up, the parking lot was pretty full, but I was able to find a spot. I got to the station 15 minutes before the next train departure (12:30), and according to Sunrail's website there are 4 ticket machines at each station, which is a lie. There are only 2 ticket machines at this station, and when I got there one of them was not operating, so there was a huge line to get tickets. By the time the train left, there were still a few people ahead of me in line. I understand the train runs on a schedule, but they should make sure you can get a ticket timely, either maintaining the machines better, or giving an option to get tickets online, or ahead of time elsewhere. Also, it'll be so much better once the trains runs more often, since I had to end up driving that day due to the next train not coming by until 3pm. I really want to use the train, but the schedules need to improve.

The AC was nice and cold. The boat dockage was prime, with a small boat ramp to put in. There is a hose and fish cleaning station. We met our unit neighbors who were very nice and fun to get to know. Brian is a professionals professional and mentor and a legend in the Lagoon. Adding the fish camp a few years ago is just a great benefit. The areas of the Lagoon he fishes is the most pristine and aside from the fishing a true paradise and picturesque experience hardly witnessed anywhere in the world. Brian's knowledge and caring for the Lagoon, personalty and character adds to the overall experience. I highly recommend Brian and look forward to my next trip this fall.

They have walking tour maps of all the murals, a map of the wings, and all of the electrical boxes that are wrapped. They also have several brochures about places to eat and the historical sites, and can also give you information about plays at their theatrical theater. We had a nice lady help us today and gave us more information then I originally came for. We were able to look at several different things in the city that I was not expecting with the information she gave us! The outside building also has a mural on the outside. Easy to find. Definitely come here before you venture out into downtown DeLand.

We picked E-cycles since they had the best deal with Yelp and booked the half day e-bikes. It was our first time e-biking and my mom's first time bike riding in decades. We had a great time and rode down to Ponce de Leon Lighthouse, had a quick bite and beverage at Hidden Treasure Rum Bar & Grill next to the lighthouse, then headed back. It was just enough time - there's a nature preserve that would have been nice to check out if we had booked a full day. My mom is on the shorter side and they were able to give her a partially charged slightly smaller bike to use and let us borrow the charger, which worked out to charge it at the restaurant. Overall, I recommend it! Note, the sign outside says Hopcycles and it's also a pub Thurs-Sunday in the off season. Both Karen and Krista were nice and helpful.

We returned…read moretoday hoping to rent for a couple hours only to be treated horribly by the man working there. The minute we walked in he said "I'm not open" even though he told us he opened at 10 and that we should come early. Well here we were a couple minutes early but he was having none of our business so we took it elsewhere and we're treated much better down the street. No reason for him to be such a jerk.
