They have a Chick-fil-A and a Dunkin' Donuts. And a couple of other little spots to eat. But that's about it. You can catch a beer at the bar easily. Restrooms are plenty and they are clean most of the time. Plenty of seating in each of the areas. I've never waited more than two minutes in security no matter what time of day. Luggage on the other hand you can wait a good amount of time for that. All in all you can get a ride out front very easily.

My last trip was the first time renting from Payless; I reserved online before my arrival. When I arrived, I'd been switched to a larger crossover - not sure if that affected the rate, but it did cost me more in gas. I had to extend the rental several days, then went through the usual "nope, no thanks, not interested" process, turning down the additional coverage and such. I noticed the projected total was more than expected, and was given a run-around answer. I should have got to the bottom of it before I signed, but was in a hurry. It turns out that the main reason for the higher bill was a "Roadside Assistance Protection" add-on. This wasn't even spelled out on the receipt: I didn't know what I was up-charged for until I complained via the company website. Their response: "...checked our records..." "...you signed the agreement." "...unable to make any changes or issue refunds." Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to matter what you're told, it's what you sign. Incidentally, if I'd said "yes" to all the other up-charges, I'd have paid over $57 extra per day. Granted, it could have been a lot worse, and Payless is hardly the only rental company to live on such charges. I'm fine with the fact that they try to sell their up-charges, but not when they do so by slipping them onto the contract against my wishes. Update: After their initial refusal, Payless reversed course and gave me a partial refund. This took place after I'd posted this, so it seems you have to be the squeaky wheel, but at least they listened.
