The apartments were lovely and spacious but housekeeping was non existent the first 18 months and then poor until I left. The residents were very nice and friendly but poorly screened for IL, assisted living or memory care. I cannot comment on anything other than IL where I lived.

Mom was in the wing that had several residents with Covid, but she & her roommate did not test positive. The facility had Infectious Disease out to help them with cleaning & PPE protocals & moved all infected to a separate wing with a medical barrier. They did the work & it shows. ZERO Covid positive today (June 24, 2020) !!! Good Job!!

The sales staff (Lisa) was courteous and caring going far beyond the original placement. The care staff was wonderful. Especially the first floor nurses-Amy and all the nursing staff as well as the Director of Nursing Nadine. My client was hospitalized and ultimately came back on Hospice. The care staff went over and above what I have seen at any other facility in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. They checked on my client hourly, always making sure they were clean and comfortable and took care of any needs that arose immediately. The staff's attitide, smiling faces, compassion and empathy when dealing with a difficult situation was stellar.They treated my client and the family as they would treat their own. I would put this facility on the top of your list when looking for an ALF/ Memory Care. Though they are faith based they accommodate all faiths/beliefs. I take my advocate work very seriously and have seen some terrible treatment of our seniors at others facilities. I would not hesitate to place another client at Fountains of Hope in Sarasota. Thank you to all the staff that made a difficult situation as pleasant and caring as possible.

My significant other had a broken freezer for months despite multiple requests. He also had valuables such as money and phones that suddenly "disappeared." This place is not worth the money they charge. Make sure you go beyond how the facility looks.
