For the last two years, my wife and her sister visited numerous facilities, determined to find a place where their mom would truly be happy. But time after time, something was missing. Their mom was understandably reluctant to move. She had deep emotional ties to her apartment--it's where she had lived with her late husband, and leaving it felt like leaving part of him behind. Then they discovered Tuscan Gardens. From the moment they walked in, everything felt different. The staff was warm and welcoming. The community was immaculate, bright, and full of charm, with cozy nooks and inviting spaces around every corner. They spoke with residents who genuinely loved living there--and it showed. Still, the biggest test was introducing the idea to their mom. They brought her to visit... and she lit up. She loved it! The decision was made, and she moved in shortly after. Now? She's thriving. She has a big smile on her face every day. She's surrounded by friendly, caring staff in a beautiful, healthy environment. For our family, it's been a huge relief. It was very large, many residents, and not really what our mom needs. She needs a little more help than they were able to provide. Paul and his team go out of their way to make sure our mom is comfortable and included. She is comfortable enough to socialize and participate in events, and that just wasn't the case before. They finally fired the nurse in charge of that unit and things improved a bit, but then she passed away. We had some valuable stuff, jewelry, of my mother's that disappeared, then later her dentures, which we had replaced, very expensive, and later they lost her that new denture again. They also kept losing her clothes and bedsheets. Would not recommend. However, if you chose this place, DO NOT LEAVE ANY VALUABLE STUFF IN THEIR CARE.

The sales staff (Lisa) was courteous and caring going far beyond the original placement. The care staff was wonderful. Especially the first floor nurses-Amy and all the nursing staff as well as the Director of Nursing Nadine. My client was hospitalized and ultimately came back on Hospice. The care staff went over and above what I have seen at any other facility in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. They checked on my client hourly, always making sure they were clean and comfortable and took care of any needs that arose immediately. The staff's attitide, smiling faces, compassion and empathy when dealing with a difficult situation was stellar.They treated my client and the family as they would treat their own. I would put this facility on the top of your list when looking for an ALF/ Memory Care. Though they are faith based they accommodate all faiths/beliefs. I take my advocate work very seriously and have seen some terrible treatment of our seniors at others facilities. I would not hesitate to place another client at Fountains of Hope in Sarasota. Thank you to all the staff that made a difficult situation as pleasant and caring as possible.

I just moved my 97…read moreyear old mom there the end of January and was impressed with the staff (nursing, aids & especially the Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapists). My mom had a stroke & was paralyzed on her right side. The therapists worked diligently with mom & she now has movement in right arm & can stand (with help). Mom was in the wing that had several residents with Covid, but she & her roommate did not test positive. The facility had Infectious Disease out to help them with cleaning & PPE protocals & moved all infected to a separate wing with a medical barrier. They did the work & it shows. ZERO Covid positive today (June 24, 2020) !!! Good Job!!
