We explained why toe scrapes were huge to him and they agreed 100%. Every person we encountered was so kind and helpful. Dr Hazel was awesome and gave solid advice. We left in a VERY timely manner with a prescription for antibiotics. The discharge nurse even suggested a Publix Pharmacy that was super close. I am more than 100% satisfied with the care my husband receive!!! Thank you so much Sarasota Memoria!!!

I'll start by saying they have valet parking when you come to this hospital for regular visit or for ER visit I had to go to the ER Thought I was having a heart attack or stroke. They got me immediately back ran a ton of test for two days kept me for observation overnight. It was a complete team approach and I was very very very impressed. The other time that I was at this hospital was recently when my friends daughter gave birth. The entire process the entire team did a fantastic job. Communication was amazing. Their procedures and policies were very modern and up-to-date. After the birth and in the room, the baby never left the room or the mother side or should I say site they had a lot of educational resources and made sure that the Mom understood many things about being a mother what to do in the early days, taking care of a baby. There was a lot of education a lot of communication and a real desire to help the mom take care of the baby the way, the mom wanted to have things done. They were very respectful and very attentive. I could go on and on and on, but after having experience in other hospitals, I can't say this is absolutely the best hospital I've ever been in a reserved service from.

This is a hard one to write for different reasons, first bc I cannot write want I am truly feeling…read moreabt this agency. An fyi, There are different "teams" that work hospice. Hospice House itself, Home Care Hospice and where those "under Hospice Care" are in nursing homes. My mother was in the latter. My mom and I decided to place her under Hospice Care largely bc they had been so wonderful with my father. He was under The Ellenton Hospice House and later transferred. The very day my mom was placed under Hospice, her nurse was leaving and We were informed she would be seen by an Rn PRN wkly, with different nurses. We also were assured, that once my mother started declining rapidly, "we know the signs", I was told, I would be notified to come in and make calls. Yes, I got reports from her visits ie: nurses, social worker etc. Then that day came, reports etc.. I had BLIND TRUST IN THESE PPLE. NOT once did they tell me It looks really bad and I think u need to come & come now. I later received a phone call from the Placement center that she had passed (not their words) . I was SHOCKED & MAD & SAD. They promised me I would be able to be there. Almost forgot, as I was on my way up there contacting family along the way after the fact, they had sent out Karen, a Hospice Nurse to meet us. OMG, When I got there it was insane. this KAREN person who by this time had been there at least an hour, hadn't even made my mom presentable for our arrival. I had to fix her gown etc.. Later when I called Sarasota Hospice, I was told "we don't have a crystal ball" this was first said by mom's nurse Lynn and again by her boss, Pat. Pat then proceeded to parrot the notes from that day. Yes, they do have one, I was told anyone who had worked for hospice knows the signs and I had already been thru Hospice w my Father. So, I was basically called a liar and I should have been able to read btwn the lines with regard to my daily reports that day. These people are disgusting and imo, should not be working for Hospice and dealing w grieving families. I would run from this place especially if your loved one is in placement. Use another Hospice. These people don't care .. I CAN NEVER GET THAT TIME BACK WITH MY MOTHER LIKE I WAS PROMISED BY THIS SARASOTA HOSPICE TEAM.

Call lights don't get answered for 4 hours or more or they shut it off at the desk. Heard a nurse tell a patient to get the F*** away from my cart, when they were asking for meds. Resident said she hadn't had her meds for 3 days, but that same nurse signed all her meds out. You can report to mgmt but you'll be retaliated against. The team that's been there over the past 3 years are verbally abusive to the residents and staff. Very neglectful. Residents renamed the facility Magnolia Prison. Nothing will change until they remove the evil people at the top. The new people came in and followed suit with the old ways. Exactly what the residents said would happen. It's wrong the way people are treated here. I was told after I cleaned a unit up that was just existing for a few years my position was eliminated and not to return, only to find out they told Corporate HR I was a no call no show. It's like if you are there for the residents they don't want you. I was treated horribly by the new administrator and DON. God placed me there to shed light on what's really happening. Been happening. Do Better, because this is awful. I experienced racism and it was reported by many residents they've experienced it too. Bullying in Health care is real folks. Wish I could attach screenshots. I'm still waiting on my pay that was short times 2 checks. Many folks are missing pay. Billing for services that aren't rendered is fraud... Falsification of documents is illegal. Not reporting state reportables is illegal. May 2024 be the year Administration staff are held responsible for what they allow to go on in these facilities. To my residents I love you and enjoyed every moment I had. Thank you for giving me a chance to make it better. I apologize for evil people. No worries God has them in the end AMEN
