I've known Karen for many years. She helped me personally with a program called life repair. Before life repair, I blamed everyone but myself for my life choices. My parents, husband, ex friends, previous boyfriends etc. I also lied a lot. Not to be a bad person but because I didn't like myself very much. At the end of the program I was the happiest I've ever been in my life and I realized not to get stuck in the past. The future is what we make of it right? I feel like such better person since working with Karen. I recommend her services to anyone looking to improve their life. Not only did she help me I also have her working with my 11yr old son. What could an 11yr old need to see her for your thinking? My son went from private school to public school 3 yrs ago. We had to put him there because tuition just got insane and the economy was just awful.
Jax, my son couldn't make the transition. The teachers were harsher then he was use to and the children bullied him right away. My son loves to read, hes a chess player, & an artist. Very quiet and lovable. That's not public school material. The bullying was very difficult and my son had to he moved to another school since he stopped eating and started acting out. When I found out what was going on, I placed him in a nicer public school. He did ok there but middle school came and he went from straight A's to F's. I didn't understand so I turned to Karen. After 1 meeting Jax confided in her that he was being bullied again by a student and a Teacher. She helped Jax handle his bully on his own by communicating to a Teacher and she informed me. Usually I'd run to his reduce but she was right, Jax needs to know how to ask for help and he was so proud of himself at the end of it. I had no idea how bad it was with his core teacher. Karen and I worked together to find solutions for Jax and together we did! I removed Jax immediately and since then Jax has been his old self! Karen has helped me be a better mother but most importantly taught me how to be a friend to my son. Finding the passions of his life and taking a greater interest in not just going with the flow of my community because that's what everyone does but to just focus on my children as individuals who each need different things from me. Jax tells Karen things he just won't share with with me and I'm happy he has her. They have been working together since January 2013 and still see each other a few times a week. Hes much happier, loves going to see Karen and I'm forever grateful for what she's done for my Son. He finally has self confidence! Im also grateful that I didnt listen to Jaxs school counselor who suggested I medicate Jax. Jax didn't need medication or intense psycho therapy. He just needed someone to talk to other then his Mother. He needed to have his passions fed and he needed to get away from people who made him doubt himself and scared him daily. I love Karen and I just can't say enough about her. read more
