Teachers are dedicated. and love their students. Inter scholastic sports are competitive. All but one of my college kids were college varsity athletes in their respective sport. Also adding a advance learning center for the seniors ( this was under construction when i was in school). The community is small, but proud and growing fast paced. Performing arts is top notch the Band has something like 10 straight state titles 12 total i believe along with National championships pretty soon the City will out grow itself and have to build another High school.

Signage is decent getting into the place. I know that they're academics are not strong here, and they usually place near the bottom of the metropolitan area. Their music programs have been strong in the past and seemed to be on the build again. Sporting teams are hot and cold. The building is large and spread out lots of really nice things and lots of things that just haven't been kept up.

The stadium is used for football and for track. They also offer softball, baseball, soccer and powderpuff. The fields are kept nice, and there is benches to sit on at the softball and baseball field. The best part is they have an Area 31 Center where even students can come in from other districts to be certified in culinary, aesthetician, criminal law, pharmacy tech... There is so much offered at the school, and the grounds are kept up. This is a great place to come and walk, as there is even a little area that has some really large trees and shade around the baseball field. There is also a very large area that completely encompasses the entire campus. This is great for long walks. (without dogs attacking you)

Brownsburg High is the top-rated school in the state…read more During the summer people get into massive bidding wars to buy houses in the school district. BHS takes very good care of its students, especially those with special needs. They are very organized and caring folks. Sports here very football and basketball oriented, with the community turning out big time for these matches. Remodelling currently affecting school due to growth. Parking and pickup and drop off difficult now every day. But should improve next year.
