I have been to a lot of physical therapy centers over the years and Avora ranks as the best. I don't feel like I am being shuffled off to an assistant each time which other large PT operations tend to do. My therapist stays with me the entire time. If I need to see a different therapist because of schedule conflicts, there are extensive notes in my file so each therapist knows my progress. I have worked with Dr Marina Mon and Steve Mack. I recommend both of them highly. Anytime I need PT in the future, this will be my go-to office. read more

When I was first referred to Avora for shoulder and knee issues, I admit to being skeptical that this would help. I have had issues with right knee pain that I understood was arthritis for several years. I figured I would eventually join the knee replacement club. BUT after a few weeks and sessions with Dr. Tim Icard, I was hopeful this would help not only help my knee, but my shoulder issues as well. Dr. Tim is an excellent PT. He is passionate about helping to customize specific exercises for each issue. He does a wonderful job explaining "why it hurts" and using diagrams, how the specific exercise helps. He even came over to the Y to go over some equipment for me to use on my own. I am thrilled to report after going through physical therapy with Dr. Tim, my right knee is pretty much pain free! My experience with PT after shoulder was the best I've had ( and after five shoulder surgeries and a total hip replacement I've had a lot). The facility was convenient and parking was always easy. But more importantly Danielle the receptionist was always pleasant and helpful. My appointments were always prompt, exactly on time. Most important of all though was Dr. Joshua Gleeson-Warren who was amazing. Always professional, cheerful, and made me WANT to exercise. He was encouraging, and facilitated a fast thorough recuperation. It was just a pleasure to go to my appointments. I would definitely recommend Avora to family and friends.
