Yea, I have had some health issues prior to my arrival at Sound Naturopathic Clinic, but I have been treated by a naturopath in my previous state for years, addressing all of those. The purpose for my visit was to establish care and treatment for my overall health as well as the one chronic condition that needs ongoing follow-ups. It's a thyroid condition, so I need thyroid prescriptions every three months. I barely had a chance to sit down when the provider pulls out my health history and says we have a lot to go over but we won't have time to get to it all. I explained that I have been treated for years by a naturopathic doctor so my prior "conditions" were not why I was there. I explained that I have an autoimmune disease that requires prescriptions and I was there mainly to establish care and be treated for that-- my CURRENT condition. The provider rudely cut me off and sniped that she was not going to be used. I was confused, so I asked her to explain what she was talking about. She repeated that she would not be used by me. I asked her in what way she felt me coming to her for care was me using her. She said she isn't going to be used for prescriptions. (Which is a pretty ridiculous attack on my character, and also, ridiculous to accuse someone of pill shopping THYROID medicine. I again explained that I was there to be monitored and had labs to show her as well. Again, she rudely accused me of using her for prescriptions. She wasn't making sense and at this point the vibes were so toxic I removed myself from this establishment.
