He abruptly yelled at me accusing me of missing my appointment and for yelling at his staff. Which IS NOT true. What a way to greet your patient of 3 years & after 4 surgeries. Staff are rude ,mean and big LIARS. They Never ever smile at you. What a disgusting, non-empathetic physician and staff. I wouldn't recommend that clinic to anyone!!!!! Horrible and poor patient care.

Great for allergic reactions, awful for X-rays! Went in on Saturday for an X-ray and I was told…read morethat I would have an answer by Saturday evening or sometime Sunday because they had to send it off. I called on Sunday for the results and I was told that the place they send X-rays to was closed on Sundays, that they would know something by Monday. On Monday when I called they said they hadn't sent it over to the place to have it read, but would and they would know something by the end of the day. I called back at the end of the day and they still didn't have the results. They did give me the number to the place they send the X-rays to so I called them and left a message. The man quickly called me back and said he didn't have my X-rays, but he did list off all the last names of the ones sent over by Xpress and other urgent cares who use their services. He asked me if I could take a photo of my X-rays and text them to him while we were on the phone and he'd read them. Since I don't have access to those X-rays I was unable to! Due to the run around by this place I had no choice but to go to another urgent care, Beaumont Urgent Care, for X-rays!! Beaumont was able to do my x-rays, give me the results and have me out of there within forty minutes!!

She is great at returning my calls and is very prompt about getting back to me with test results. She has always been patient with all of my questions and explains things clearly. I also had kind of a unique situation, which she always remembered, and she was very flexible with the timing of appointments and prescriptions. I actually just moved out-of-state, but I'm considering just making the trip back to Ann Arbor for my appointments with her. THAT BEING SAID - I will say the office staff here is the absolute WORST. They are nonresponsive, they never work (even during office hours, sometimes they don't answer the phone), they will lecture you if you wait too long to make an appointment, and - my personal favorite - they have on MULTIPLE occasions given me incorrect treatment information. First of all, staff should NEVER give treatment information. I'm a lawyer, and the fact that this was done horrified me. On once occasion, during an appointment, Dr. Amarnath told me to go have my blood drawn immediately, and when I went to check out, the staff member told me that I could not go to have my blood drawn because of the timing of my medication that day. I made her go back and check with Dr. Amarnath, and Dr. Amarnath promptly corrected her. The second time, Dr. Amarnath called me to change my medication dosage, and a couple days later, some staff member called me and told me a different dosage. I didn't even both following up with Dr. Amarnath, since I just assumed the staff person was wrong. In conclusion - AWESOME doctor, terrible staff, but I'm not going to knock a star off of Dr. Amarnath's review because the staff is incompetent.

Billing problems because of incorrect coding for insurance companies, lengthy hold time on phone for questions and appointments. Was left in hold for 30 minutes, I thought someone was researching a billing error. Called on my cell phone to see what the hold up was and was told "oh that lines ring back was on mute" The office personal are short tempered. I use to recommend them but no longer.
