I had to have a new roof put on, so I requested that Naples Awning remove the awning (that I had purchased from them and that they had originally installed) and then put it back up. They charged a whopping $2100 to do the work. This is what they call a completed project. Don't really need a level to see how bad the job was done. We had two smaller awnings on slide in frames that needed new fabric. We called for an estimate and they were out the next day...great, I thought...but wait...there's more. Got an emailed contract that was $1200 for the two canvases and putting them on the frame. Well, it's Naples and everything costs more and we had never had work like this done before so we told them to go ahead with the work. They had to come back to pick up the frames...crickets....three weeks later they picked up the frames. We had been told on January 6th that it would take 6-8 weeks...well...three of those already went by. So I waited several weeks and called in to see about a completion date, we'll give you a call back this afternoon....NO call back. So at least 6 weeks out I'm thinking I need to check so I called. Receptionist transferred me to some other lady and I gave her my name. She says, I know who you are...with attitude and every time I tried to ask a question she cut me off...constantly and she finally said Chris would call me this afternoon. Ummm NO CALL BACK. So out of the blue mid March I get a call from a driver who is on the way to deliver our awnings. YAY...but he refused to put them up and he left. Hubby installed the small one over the front door and it was ok, but the one over the sliding glass door..well...the fabric was put on the frame upside down or backwards.. Hubby had to call them and they sent another guy out who got there after 5 PM and he took off the fabric, turned it around and put up the awning. He was the nicest person as far a contact with anyone from this company. The cost of this job was overpriced and the service was awful. When they found out that it was just a small job, it just went downhill. Now I live in a community of over 500 lots and most of the houses have awnings. Can you guess what I will be doing next? I called Naples awning when my remote control did not work to open and close awning. I tried last week for 5 days to have someone return my call and no one did "their excuse was the hurricane" yet I called before it hit. Finally after six calls and a Better Business Bureau complaint they set up an appointment co come and look at the equipment today at 12 noon. They showed up at 9am and send three men, one of them checked the motor and informed me I need a new motor $1400-$1800. I told them I would let them know. They presented me with a bill for service $280. When I spoke to their office before they came there was never a mention of a service charge. This is like a "bait and switch" on job. The men were here for 10 minutes and when I called Stacy at the office her defense regarding the charge was that I never asked. This place is a scam and they should be investigated for the con they tried to pull. I would never use thee people. read more

Seems like Naples Awning have no respect for an old man with a heavy accent like myself. Visited they warehouse office, and explain the front desk lady, the work to be done, she called the owner. First impression, a aged broken man, few words, no introduction. Informed the clerk to write up the work order, and we will do the job tomorrow and we will call. She took all my information and phone number. Next day nobody showed up. At 3:15 I called the office, they could not find the work order, took my phone and they will call back. 30 minutes later I called again, the lady told me they will call tomorrow (again) I explained to her that I will not be home tomorrow, to please check an schedule and give me a two hours window. I asked her why she did not call me back, she said that is all she can do. I expressed to her that it seems they don't have the personnel to do the job, and at present time they are disorganized. She became upset on the phone, and recognized that at present time they are disorganized. It was not, at any time, any excuses, or apologies, simply she admitted they are at present disorganized, and for me to better find somebody else, they can't promise me they will be able to do the job. Naples Awning installed a lanai awning a couple of years ago for us. It was created and installed in a quick and professional way. However in time we noticed a steady drip during heavy rain that made a slippery puddle at a entrance. We called Naples Awning multiple times to find and fix the problem. Each time we were told someone would contact us and come by, but no one ever called back. We at no point suggested the drip was necessarily their problem.
