Whitney, at the front desk, is the heart of the operation. She knows everything and will try her best to get you in. HOWEVER, there are not enough appointments here and it can be tough to get a slot. The billing system seems like a mess. Early on, I paid by cash a few times (big mistake) and it took weeks to iron out what I owed. Then, later, I was randomly charged $100 I didn't owe. These are great folks, but they need a new billing system. Okay, money stuff done. Jen Duffie is an exceptional physical therapist. She helped me in my very worst moments; when I was dealing with excruciating pain. She's encouraging and non-judgmental. I've also been treated by Ashley Crain, as well at PTAS Jenny and Emily. All of them were great as well! This is where I would recommend any friends or family members go.

understaffed. no closed captioning on television for hearing impaired family member and staff did…read morenot address their communication for family members lack of hearing. meds came close to 1 1/2 to two hours late. when aids changed wet pad on family member, they said they did not have time to change bedding that was wet on many occasions and surgical wound was in for rehab and to be constantly monitored and cleaned due to this mishap. Nurses and aids were often rude, some yelled at patient in their own frustration. no matter how many times charge nurses of DON handled the situations, new staff would come on and always had similar situations again. the facility itself needs walls painted and intercoms on walls fixed and updated. many hang loose off wall and you can see into the drywall. there was what looked like dried running water markings from ceiling down the wall at head of bed. Nurses often left wet and soiled wash clothes on bathroom floor, counter and sometimes the sink. food was somewhat okay and once in a while had something delicious too. PT group was awesome with loved one.. Wish I had the money to repaint building, buy new furniture as the shellac was rubbed off tables, nightstands, cabinets. great room table tops all look filthy, same trash laid on the floor for several days without being cleaned up in great Room. when our loved one needed someone and after an hour or so was crying in pain or left on toilet thirsty minutes after just having surgery, I was crying too as no one gave me the time of day when I looked for help. if they did, they came at looked at sister and went right back out of the door saying nothing and no one still ever came. family felt helpless for trying to help our loved one.

I ignored it for a while which was dumb & because of that it was really starting to affect my daily life. I had a lot of discomfort while sleeping, was limited on lifting things over my head & reaching certain ways. I also could tell my shoulder was getting weaker. My therapist at Cora Creve Coeur was Joey and we meshed so well from the start! During my first interaction with him, I could tell his expertise, professionalism and dedication were going to be second to none. You could also tell that he was incredibly caring and he listened to what I had to say about my symptoms. I felt heard with Joey and knew he was going to improve my range of motion and decrease the pain I was having. Through a very detailed & comprehensive assessment of my shoulder, he was quickly able to pinpoint what was going on & came up with a game plan of strengthening/range of motion exercises, stretches, massages, & muscle scraping techniques. PT is of course, not the most exciting thing to go through but Joey made things fun, effective and truly made a difference in my shoulder recovery. I left Cora with no pain, range of motion that was back to normal and gained so much strength back in my shoulder. It's been quite a few months since I've finished up there and my should still feels totally normal and healthy. Also wanted to say that Allison at the front desk is the sweetest person, works so hard, is professional and does everything in her power to help get patients set up with whatever they need. Her communication with patients is amazing and so helpful! Overall, I would highly recommend Joey and Cora physical therapy to anyone who needs help. You will be in great hands!

Additionally, it was always so hard to schedule with my provider and harder to sort it out with my insurance. What really stood out about Taylor and her team is that they treat their patients like family; with their busy schedules, they always seem time to text/call you to see how you are progressing throughout your plan. In addition, your treatment plans are specially catered to you and what activities you do on a daily or non frequent basis; ex: yard work, training for an event/sport, lifting, or just doing activities with your kids - she finds a way to incorporate those movements into your recovery. Last but not least, since she is cash based, you don't have to worry about insurance process which provides a more personal experience. Been pain free for several years after seeing Taylor and her team, and I refuse to go to anyone else! Hope this helps!

They will NEVER tell you that you can't achieve something but instead will strengthen and rehab you to exceed your goals! The PTs are all former athletes who understand athletes and their needs. Plus the office is a gym-like setting with all the equipment and recovery tools you will need! After years of insurance based PT at multiple facilities, the cost is 1000% worth it and I would not go anywhere else!

I was experiencing extreme pain in my upper back/shoulder area. I tried home remedies for a few…read moreweeks but when it got unbearable I was referred to IMove PT by my doctor. At first the therapy was difficult because I was in so much pain. I saw Dr. Joda and after 2 visits, he suggested that Dr. Gorman try dry needling. I was up for anything that would help. I must say that it isn't a pleasant experience especially being in so much pain. After 3 session of dry needling along with therapy, the pain became tolerable. I had another of 12 visits with Dr. Joda and by the time I was done I had no pain and was able to resume all normal activities. He was wonderful and I would highly recommend IMove PT for any physical therapy needs.

I have debated writing this review for some time now but here goes…read more Thera Plus is a well equipped studio. I think they are trained and knowledgable. However I think they concentrate more on manipulation of an injury and working out their clients than fixing the problems though explanations and exercises. I have had two injuries and both times was not explained what was wrong or why the injuries had occurred. I was just put on the table and my muscles were massaged and pressed on etc. No real discussion of any sort. Very frustrating. I was basically ignored. At the end of two of my sessions I specifically asked what I could do at home to help the injury and prevent it and was told "don't do anything". Literally I walked in was put on a table and at the end was asked "when can I see you again" No discussions, no explanations, nothing. This did not sit well with me so I found another physical therapist. I had a complete explanation of my injury with a skeletal example of why it happened and exercises to fix and prevent the problem. The therapist spent over an hour with me. I am happy to say after a few weeks my injury immediately began to heal. I was sent home with exercises printed out for me. I also have a set of exercises that will help to strengthen my muscles to keep from injuring myself again. So glad I looked elsewhere.
