The office is clean, modern, and actually cute which is a refreshing change from my last dentist that looked like a hole in the wall. The TVs have crystal clear resolution for viewing x-rays, and they went over everything in detail so I understood exactly what was going on. My wait time was literally zero minutes, and here is the funny part; I was in and out with a filling faster than my last office ever managed to do a cleaning. The hygienist/assistant was so sweet and personable, and the dentist was relatable, friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to understand. I even found myself laughing and enjoying the visit which has never happened at a dental appointment in my life. For the first time ever, I am actually looking forward to going back for my cleaning. I have already recommended two friends, and I will keep recommending Vanderbilt Estates Dental to anyone looking for an amazing dental office. I cannot recommend them enough.

That was exactly how I felt walking into Park Family Dental. And for me, that's a BIG deal because I have pretty extreme dental anxiety from a childhood dental trauma. I originally went to Park Family Dental for a cleaning and a cosmetic consultation with Dr. Long, who I had researched extensively beforehand. The practice already had thousands of amazing reviews, but what really stood out to me was that Dr. Long is the only AACD Accredited cosmetic dentist in the area. That was especially important to me because I knew my case could be a little more complicated due to my childhood injury, and I really wanted someone with that level of training and expertise handling the cosmetic side of my treatment. My hygienist, Catalina, was so sweet and patient. She knew how nervous I was and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed the entire time. As it turned out, my case was definitely more complicated than I expected. What started as a cleaning and cosmetic consult uncovered a longstanding infection that I had absolutely no idea was there and ended up requiring some pretty extensive dental work. Being a medical professional myself, I was immediately impressed by the level of clinical expertise in this office. They were able to do a 3D CT scan right there, and I was able to consult with Dr. Macedo, who specializes in endodontic procedures. I ultimately needed multiple root canals as well as an apicoectomy with bone grafting. Dr. Macedo and her assistants, Miranda and Mary, were amazing. I honestly never knew it was possible to inject dental anesthetic without feeling a thing until Dr. Macedo did it! She and her team were incredibly gentle, patient and thorough and somehow made procedures that sounded absolutely terrifying to me go incredibly smoothly. Once all of that was taken care of, Dr. Long and his assistants Katia and David worked on the restorative and cosmetic part of my treatment, including the numerous crowns I needed. One of the things that really sets this office apart is that they have an on-site dental lab, which meant their ceramist, Lance, was able to be directly involved in creating my final smile. Lance is truly an artist. He and Dr. Long personally worked with me to make sure we got the shape, color and overall look exactly where I wanted it. I am honestly in awe of how my smile has been transformed. After everything that needed to be done, the final result is more than I could have hoped for. I won't go so far as to say I actually look forward to going to the dentist , but in just a few short weeks, the entire team at Park Family Dental managed to put fears I've had since childhood almost completely at ease. Considering they got me through root canals, an apicoectomy, bone grafting and extensive restorative and cosmetic dental work during that time, that is saying A LOT! I really can't say enough about this office. From Loyse at the front desk, to Catalina, Dr. Macedo, Miranda, Mary, Dr. Long, Katia, David and Lance, I felt like everyone genuinely cared about both the medical outcome and making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. From Loise at the front desk to my hygienist Ayleen, to everyone of the staff who greet patients, the professionalism and warmth comes from the top. My smile, I now flash as often as I can. I echo the sentiments of Stephanie G, Abigail K, Kjellaug Y, and Pete M. The first cleaning I had with Hygienist Alyson (a year or two ago) went the same as Stephanie describes - - Alyson was rude, unprofessional, condescending and has a nasty bedside manner. She is not pleased to have to deal with any medical issues a client may have. Due to vertigo and sinus problems, I am unable to be reclined back as far as she would like, yet she has no concern for anything but her own comfort. Likewise, the appointment setter, Claudia, is rude and obnoxious, stating that she told you something last time you were there, when she DID NOT. I was called less than a week before my six month cleaning and told that it would be a deep cleaning as discussed. They "mentioned" wanting to do it; but I NEVER AGREED to it - - and now they say they will no longer treat me if I don't have it done. I asked to speak with the dentist by phone and was told that I would have to make an appointment to see him in person, rather than a telephone call. I really only wanted to speak to him further about the procedure itself and privately question his staff's behavior, but because of Claudia's rudeness and pushiness, I decided to come here to let everyone know about my feelings publicly. Additionally, during the last visit, the dentist mentioned a small light colored area near one of my teeth near the gum (it has been there for years) and the dentist gave me a card to go see his buddy, a dental surgeon, to have a look at it. Two years ago, they stopped taking my insurance (claiming it was a slow payer), but I loyally stayed with them, and submitted repayments to my insurance myself for reimbursement; so now, all of a sudden, Claudia calls me a week before my appointment telling me I have good insurance and it will only be $35 for the deep cleaning. Furthermore, they will no longer treat me if I don't get it done. Could it be that they lost so many long-time clients they decided to again take my insurance? Working the system much? Poor business practices at the very least.

My wife and I both got new patient appointments at this dentist and both had two seperate, terrible…read moreexperiences with the facility and the front office staff. For my wife, she scheduled her new patient visit and after arriving at the front desk was informed that the "suction" was broken and was therefore not going to be able to be seen for her cleaning. She asked why she hadn't been called about it, to which they said they called her multiple times. (Lies). Reschedule. Upon arriving for the reschedule they still were unable to do the cleaning. But she did get her X-rays and exam. My visit, literally after being in the parking lot I received a call that the x ray machine was not functioning and they were going to only be able to do my cleaning but that I couldn't see the dentist. Appointment obviously canceled. I walked in to talk to them about these series of events to be told it was my wife's fault that she didn't get a cleaning, and she didn't schedule it with a cleaning. They informed me that it is not customary for a dentists office to do x rays and a cleaning/exam on the same day anywhere in town. (Even though my appointment was scheduled as such). For a brand new dentists office to have this unreliable of equipment and customer service is in my opinion unacceptable. We will be moving on to a different office. I recommend you pick one of the other 2000 dentists in town for your dental needs.
