Dr. Dufford returned my call promptly and he was very kind and understanding to my situation as usual. Sadly, Dr. Dufford was not able to fit me in as a returning patient at the time that I called, Dr. Dufford instead gave me a referral to two other Psychologists that specialize in treating the Complex PTSD that I suffer from and was recently diagnosed with. Dr. Michelle Chabbot was the Psychologist that I first reached out to following the multiple traumatic events that led to my Complex PTSD diagnoses and that caused my PTSD Panic Attack. I study Psychology myself, and I was very shaken when I contacted Dr. Chabbot, as I'd never experienced at PTSD Panic Attack before, and I never even knew that someone could suffer from something as terrible as a PTSD Panic Attack. Dr. Chabbot answered the phone immediately, and she was kind and caring enough to take the time to help me immediately. She even answered some emergency questions that I had regarding my recent Complex PTSD diagnoses and the PTSD Panic Attack that I suffered. Dr. Chabbot did all of this for me during her time off on the weekend, when she was out of town on vacation. Talking with Dr. Chabbot, meant so very much to me. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Chabbot and I immediately knew that I was in good hands with regards to finding help to treat my Complex PTSD Disability. I'll be continuing my treatment with Dr. Chabbot moving forward, and I'll be sure to update my review along the way as well. I can tell Dr. Chabbot is an extremely gifted and knowledgeable Psychologist, and she is exceptionally knowledgeable and gifted in the area of PTSD especially. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Dr. Chabbot/Dr. Dufford, if you are ever in need. I also urge anyone reading this to reach out to Dr. Dufford/Dr. Chabbot if you are in any need of mental healthcare. It's vital to seek the aid of a Psychologist if you've ever experienced going through a traumatic life event (such as a car accident, workplace discrimination, domestic violence, Ableist bullying, really anything that happens that is traumatic in life, can potentially lead to PTSD I'm told. On top of this, in my own personal experience, PTSD appears to me to be a self fueling condition/ mental illness/disability, meaning that PTSD can worsen over time, if left untreated. What this means is that, it's vital to seek the help of a qualified mental healthcare professional immediately following a traumatic life event. If one doesn't immediately get the treatment that one needs, ones PTSD could quickly worsen, that and one could easily develop "layers" of PTSD, from multiple traumatic events as well. In addition to this, PTSD can also VERY QUICKLY develop into a life threatening condition/mental illness/disability, so please don't ever hesitate to get seek immediate help. Even if you just suspect you might need help, then immediately seek out that help as your mental health can quickly worsen, leaving you in a life threatening situation.

It is my great pleasure to write this long overdue review for Dr. Brendan Pratt. He comes with our…read morehighest recommendation. I have just come home from an IEP meeting at my son's 9th grade school. It went incredibly well, thanks to the fantastic evaluation written by Dr. Pratt. The school psychologist said at our meeting that Dr. Pratt's report was one of the best he has ever seen, and it was obvious that he has worked successfully with many school districts and knows exactly what the district will require in order to provide services. We are thrilled that our son is going to be given all of the requested accommodations he needs to be successful in high school. We have also worked with Dr. Pratt when our son was in kindergarten and needed a referral to the wonderful Charles Armstrong School for learning differences, which he attended from 1st grade through 8th grade. Dr. Pratt made the recommendation for the Charles Armstrong School, and it was the best educational experience for our son and our family, given his learning differences. Previously, we attempted to transition back to our local middle school by initialing requesting an IEP through our local public school. We have been denied services several times when receiving the evaluations from the school district psychologist. We are so glad we returned to Dr. Pratt in 8th grade for the evaluation that has made Max's transition to high school so wonderful. Because of our work with Dr. Pratt, we were able to start high school with a 504 plan in place which gave Max accommodations from the start of the school year, while we waited for the IEP process to take place. We could not have successfully navigated the system as well as we have without the invaluable support and expertise of Dr. Pratt. Best of all, Max says Dr. Pratt is COOL! Thanks, Brendan! We are filled with gratitude for all your help dealing with these complex issues. Happy Holidays!

From the very beginning, Sarah was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She created such a warm and welcoming environment that our daughter actually looked forward to her appointments. Sarah had a special way of making sessions fun and engaging while still helping our daughter build important skills and confidence. As parents, we also felt supported every step of the way. Sarah took the time to educate us, answer our questions, and provide practical tools and strategies we could use at home. Her guidance gave us a much better understanding of our daughter's needs and how to best support her. One of the things we appreciated most was Sarah's advocacy. She went above and beyond to help us work with the school district to ensure our daughter received the accommodations and support she needed to succeed in school. Having someone so compassionate and dedicated in our corner made an enormous difference for our family. My three visits are now up and I am so sad to find that she is an out-of-network provider, and I need to find a new provider for insurance purposes. Jill is amazing. She is warm, kind, caring, sympathetic, and trustworthy all while maintaining a very professional and reasonable demeanor. I felt no hesitation in opening up to her and feeling like this was a person who could help me by listening and offering sound advice. I haven't been to other therapists before so I can't compare her to others, but I believe my positive experience with Jill definitely has to do with both her wonderful personality and her gentle style. I feel that I wouldn't have responded quite as well if she had a more stern or blunt personality. If it weren't for the insurance issues, I'd happily continue seeing Jill. I can only hope that she is able to help others in need as much as she helped me. Thank you, Jill!

A measure of a good therapist is who the person is and how hard the therapist has worked on her own mental health. Jill has worked on herself and it shows in her maturity and ability to give good counsel--she still quite young (I'm going to guess in her thirties). I see Jill as someone I aspire to be like. She's got great integrity and cares about the people she counsels. She has a high level of emotional intelligence and also has great people skills. There is a softness to Jill that is comforting. She's a genuine person on a deep level. I learn about life from her with each conversation. One of her loves is working with women who are discovering themselves. She is also very skilled with children and adolescents. Her focus is more on individual therapy. I have to give her five stars for her level of professionalism and excellence as a professional.
