Salesman Dan and the installation crew get 5 stars all day long. The company really gets a zero! I never had flooding in my front yard until their system was installed. I thought, no problem they'll take care of it. Well I was wrong, unless I pay another $1800.00 dollars. What an absolute joke. My front yard has never looked so bad in 12 years of living in this house. Thanks for absolutely ruining my yard. Please folks, do yourself a favor and avoid them. I hate that it's the morals of the company and doesn't reflect the workers who are just doing their job. read more

I used their Facebook ad to set up a consultation about filling in a critter burrow that had been dug under my front sidewalk (before it collapses). They said someone could come out right away - on Wednesday at 3:30 pm. So I got out of work early and rushed home to meet the guy giving me the quote. When he didn't show up by 4:00 pm, I called Ayers Basement. They told me it was scheduled for the FOLLOWING WEEK, and they weren't coming to my address - they were scheduled to go to a FORMER ADDRESS because that's what they had in their system associated with my telephone number. I told them to nevermind - since they can't seem to figure out how to schedule an appointment, I don't trust them to do work on my property. read more

I wrote a shining review of this company after they installed smart jacks in my basement to lift the center of the house to level back out the floor. The installation appears to have gone okay it's the lifting part to level the floors that hasn't happened. There was a lot of sewer,, electrical, and water lines that ran close or on the beam, which the salesman Chris said wouldn't be a problem. When I read over the contract in the three-day period where it said all electrical and water lines had to be removed and sewer lines scoped, and that anything otherwise implied wouldn't matter if they were damaged, I called the salesman and told him I wanted an engineer to come look at the job when I told him I wanted out of the contract because what he implied and what could happen were two different things considering I couldn't get all those things removed. He said he'd get an engineer out the next day. When no one showed by afternoon I called him back and he said he couldn't get an engineer out there, but everything would be fine, and he'd get the sewer lines scoped. I just told him that implied doesn't count and I wanted out. He got really upset with me and said they'd have men up and down the line when it came time to lift and everything would be fine. With the pressure he was applying I went ahead and said yes. After the installation, when they went to do what they called a slight lift to snug everything into place, there were only two guys. Since this was a center wall, I asked how two guys could be on both side the wall and upstairs watching the floor. So, they called the salesman out. When I went back downstairs, one guy disappeared somewhere, and the salesman was hand jacking the post. He said that would snug everything into place and three months later they'd come out and do the lift. That's not what I was initially told. I was told after they installed the jacks, they'd lift it and come back a year later after it settled a bit to lift it again, but I would notice a significant difference in the level of my floor. That never happened. There was no difference at all. The salesman said he didn't have time to get the hydraulic jacks out as it was late in the day and had to pick up his dog at the doggy day care. About a week later I get a call and asked to sign off on the rest of the financial agreement. I told the lady they hadn't finished doing the lift because he had to go pick up his dog. The city, who had come out, also wouldn't approve it because they placed a jack between two electrical lines and they were touching the post. He said they'd have to have someone come out and make sure the lines weren't live, and if they were, they'd have to move them. Plus, there was an issue of water near one of the jacks I was concerned about that wasn't dying up, wondering if they did hit a sewer line underground that the guy who did the scope missed. The salesman came back out again and looked at it. He said they'd be out in a couple days to fix the lines. Couple of days turned into the next week. The electrical guys came out and moved the line. Still no lift but a lot of pressure to sign the financials. I told them until they do what they promised I wasn't signing it. From the first initial lift, it had left a beam by the steps floating in the air. I asked him if they could, when they come out, replace that beam and the other beams to they could get the necessary lift to extend further into the house because I didn't feel they could achieve it if they didn't address that issue given the size of the house, and he agreed, told me if I got the beams, they'd do it. I went and got the beams. They showed up to do the lift, and again, there were no guys up and down the line to watch everything going on as I was told. As a result, they broke a joist. The salesman tried to tell me it was done when the furnace was put in back in the 1940's, but you could hear when it broke coming through the floor, not the walls. Then he took me over by where the sewer line was that went down the wall and into the floor and told me that's all the lift they could do there because they'd reached the top of the line....which, if he had sent out an engineer like I wanted him to, the chance he'd caught that and made note of there'd only be so far you could go with that sewer line right there would have come into the equation before signing the contract giving me the option to opt out. After he tells me that, he ask me to sign the financials, I refused. I told him, no one pays this kind of money for no improvement. He started screaming at me that my house was sinking and now it's stabilized. I told him that wasn't the initial overall goal, the goal was to level my floors when you came here, stabilizing the back further than the front was his idea of going down twenty feet back there so that once my floors were level again, they'd stay level.
